Some of the best tavern style pizza in the city. I’ve lived nearby for decades and I’m sorry it’s taken me until now to try Borelli’s! I know food costs are up, and I WILL pay >$30 for this pizza, but damn.If it were a $22 pie this would be my undeniable favorite Chicago pizza joint.

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time recently because one of our musician friends was hosting an open jam. Overall it was a great experience. The atmosphere is nice with a sort of Jazz lounge type vibe. Unfortunately, our pizza order got messed up (overcooked) but the manager was REALLY nice. He made us a new one, upgraded it from a 12" to a 14" at no extra charge, AND comped our second round of cocktails. The pizza was absolutely delicious. Great Chicago-Style...

This is such a hidden gem!!! I went with my husband and 14-month old. In their back room, they have SO many toys and a vintage ferris wheel she rode on for only 25 cents. It was so nice to have a few glasses of wine, incredible pizza and let her play. They also have live music on Monday nights which was such a nice surprise. I couldn't recommend enough - we will be back!!!
