Food was good, drink was mid, atmosphere fine. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to my group, you have to order on your phone?? What am I tipping for?? We’re at the table but have to go through the whole menu on our phones, order on our phones, pay on our phones… might as well order DoorDash. There should be a sign on the door that there is no waiter service and if you want human interaction to go elsewhere.
Brisket sandwich overwhelmingly full of fat meat. I definitely was highly disappointed. They are inconsistent which is a serious problem. I have picture I wish I could post. I think pick up is not a good option unless you want to be disappointed.

I stumbled upon this place walking back from Wrigley Field. From the outside, the place looked great and the smells coming from within were inviting. The look inside was cozy. That is where the good portion really stops. I had to seat myself (which isn't a big deal, but will be shortly) and then order from a QR code. QR code menus are more cumbersome than just having something in hand. The food came out quickly though. The fries were overly salted and the pork belly was more like a super fatty brisket. It was only ok. The beans and rice were fairly bland as well. The main problem for me was ONLY seeing someone when the food came out. We paid via the QR code. No refill, no service and THEN expecting me to leave a tip starting at 21 percent. That is a hard no for me because I did not get anything different from what would have happened at a fast food establishment. This place could be super amazing, but that portion of the experience totally ruined it for me.
