Bronzeville Winery

My partner and I recently visited Bronzeville Winery for a date night, and it’s truly a gem on the South Side. From the warm greeting at the door to the stunning art on the walls, the ambiance was perfect—plus, it’s Black-owned!

Our server, Cierra, was fantastic—kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu . She even surprised us with complimentary champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch. The DJ kept the vibes going with great music.

For our meals, I had the herb-crusted lamb, and my partner had the Creole salmon tagliatelle—both were absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a Black-owned wine flight, especially the South African red blend.

This place feels like more than a restaurant; it’s a true community space. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back to try out brunch and their events!

Bronzeville Winery is an absolute gem! Our server, B, was one of the best I’ve ever had—she was incredibly attentive, gave fantastic recommendations, and had the perfect attitude to make our date night extra special. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. If you’re an Old Fashioned fan, don’t miss their version—it’s hands down the best I’ve ever had! This is a must-try restaurant, and I can’t recommend it enough. Go check it out—you won’t be disappointed!

I had the distinct pleasure of experiencing positive stimulation from the Host & Waitstaff inclusive of the jazz laced ambiance at The Bronzeville Winery! The food is delectable with vegan choices. The wine selection incorporates a number of different types or elements of variation and variety. Check Them Out!

Mikey is amazing. Always goes beyond and above to make my experience amazing . The live music is phenomenal. The food is really delicious . I recommend everyone to try this place out .

My experience has always been lovely at the winery. The staff are so kind and attentive, especially Bee, she’s so sweet and made sure I was taken care of. Mikey, the manager, ALWAYS makes sure the space is flowing and all the guests are happy. I get the same dish every time because it’s THAT GOOD! Highly recommend this establishment!!! 🙂‍↔️

I had the honor of celebrate my birthday, and it was the right place, surrounded by love, great music with good food and drinks. Amazing service, food and drinks. So far one of my favorite places in Chicago! Must visit in the south side!

Everything was extremely underwhelming. If the best thing my whole group had from their restaurant week menu was the salad and bread and butter, then I don’t know what else could be more convincing that it’s entirely not worth it. Their music volume was deafening and that’s not even close to an exaggeration. It was giving lit brunch for an upscale dinner … like hello? Also, I’m a server so I know what it’s like in the industry. The service we received did not even come close to justifying automatic 20% gratuity on ALL checks. The host was the only welcoming part of their service and environment.

Love this place! I had the salmon tailgate pasta and it was so good. Really flavorful. Staff are super friendly and they went the extra mile for us. Drinks were really pretty, we had the sidecar and the lavender lemon drop. Would highly recommend people to visit

I came here for my birthday last year. It was unfortunately just a bad night. However, they offered me a meal on the house to enhance and turn my complete experience around. I received a gift card for my inconvenience. When I came back; my server was Cierra. She treated me like it was birthday all over again from start to finish. I got complimentary champagne. Wonderful service. I had the shrimp & Brussel sprout appetizers. The lamb chop entree. Which was well seasoned, balanced, & presented beautifully. I had the Apple dumpling a la mode as dessert. Mouth watering. Also presented with birthday sorbet and champagne as well. The DJ; Duane Powell created the perfect dining ambience. Sexy and elegant. Completely changed my perception and took ownership in valuing a customer. That’s what customer service is all about. I can’t wait to go back for a wine tasting as well as another uncle Nearest Sweet potato old fashioned. Stupendous in leadership and service.

Wow. Wow. Wow. A hidden gem in the city. Went for restaurant week and was impressed. A truly unique take on comfort food. The bar staff was incredible and the main entrees were excellent. My only suggestion for improvement would be on the fries... go a bit more premium, like shoe string. It appeared majority of individuals weren't finishing/eating their fries, including myself. Other than that, a must visit.

I truly enjoyed my experience dining at the winery. From the excellence staff greeting my family at the table, amazing personalities, and incredible food. The manager also made sure to come to my table before we left. I truly enjoy a fine dining experience. If you enjoy that as well, I recommend coming to the Brownsville winery. 1000/10
