A must-see bar during the winter months! Butch McGuire's was an amazing midday stop for us while walking around the streets of Chicago. The Christmas decorations made the place stand out and is worth stopping in for just a drink or two or the whole night! We didn't have any food, but the food we saw looked delicious. You can't beat a bar that goes over the top for an amazing atmosphere, and the workers were polite in every way. Highly recommend!

Picked this place when we came from out of town. Totally surprised at the quality of the food. My friends had a Rueben, patty melt, and chicken sandwich. All were really great. And the fries!!! Fresh hand cut!! Staff was great and the decor was so so festive and fun! Really enjoyed it and plan to go back for a Guinness on tap.

My partner and I were in Chicago for the first time in Nov. 2024. Great staff, has just the right touch of a dive bar but with more modern drinks. Everything was decorated to the nine with Christmas decor, most of it in green to stay in the pub spirit.
