Not sure what “reservation” really means here. Do you actually have to wait an hour just to get in? And once you're seated, it feels like the waiter is pressuring you to finish quickly so they can clear your table. More like a bar, not a restaurant.
One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Great ambience, I felt transported! The goat empanadas and steak saltado are outstanding!! The only dish we didn't like was the street corn.
Cabra seems like a hip place for those within 10 years of 31. It's loud and beautiful with solid food prettily presented. I didn't find any of the food terribly exciting or revelatory, though the French toast was a level above most.
