I really enjoyed the experience of afternoon tea. My granddaughters had a good time. The ambiance was beautiful. The food and tea was delicious. I felt the price was overpriced. Overall we all had a good time. Wonderful meemories were created for my daughters and grandaughters. Next time I am in Chicago I will come back to the Palm Court.
This is a classic for us and we enjoy the tradition of it. Lovely setting and good food (they had a St Patrick day special that was cute). The service is unfortunately a lottery. This last visit was not great, we had to call for service several times and we felt we were bothering the staff with our asks (forgot the curd and clotted cream for instance) but then was much better towards the end. My daughter has raved about this hotel, and we stayed on our way home from a road trip. It was phenomenal! From Chris the bellhop, Benny at the valet station, and Monique in the cafe; you couldn’t have asked for a more friendly group of people, who were willing to help, greet you with the biggest smiles, and make you feel like family. In a time when customer service seems to be a thing of the past, you won’t find that here! Bravo! Well done!
