I have been going to this place for more than 15 years. The best raw salmon sushi in Chicago plus very reasonable prices.

At Cafe Sushi right now and wow! Everything we have had is delicious.
They have a great outdoor patio. Service is very good and its BYOB. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

At the time of writing this review, this place has a 3.5 star rating... what an absolute snub job! Came here with a buddy on my way out of Chicago and everything we had was incredible. Looking forward to eating here again many more times.

After 10 years of going here, still remains our favorite sushi place in town. Rolls to get- wildfire, honeybee, & Mexican. You won't regret it. Also nice being BYOB. Everyone's always so nice too.

Miso soup was very good. California roll was tasty but on the smaller side. The patio was a nice place to sit and people watch.

I’ve come many times and never had a bad meal here. Their patio is great in the warmer months. Last time I went we got the sushi boat and it was amazing. The staff are kind and welcoming. Highly recommend. It’s also great for carry out.

First time = last time. Ordered a miso soup, salmon tekka roll, gyoza, and chicken teriyaki. The soup and gyoza were bad and the salmon and chicken were not good. Not going back.

Came here hopeful that I would find a new regular sushi spot since it is the closest near me.First the AC seemed to be broken or just turned off as it was very warm and humid inside the restaurant and a door was propped open allowing for flies and other street fumes to enter the dining area.Second I don’t normally review the water but this time I was surprised when the waiter brought us room temperature glasses of water without ice and held them from the rims where I was to put my mouth. (No straws)We started out with gyoza and edamame. The gyoza was under-stuffed and overly greasy. The edamame were fridge cold. Then after waiting nearly 30 minutes our sushi finally came. I would say they were decent but no where near worth the price that was being charged. Also one of my rolls was not closed fully and was breaking up as I tried to pick it up.Of the rolls I tried I would recommend the wild fire.
