Cafe Tola never misses! Their empanadas are delicious and big enough to be a meal. My current favorite is the birria & cheese but I also love the buffalo chicken and ham, egg & cheese. DON’T SLEEP ON THE HORCHATA LATTE! The folks who work there are so kind and the decor vibes are amazing!
Pretty good empanadas, but would not recommend for vegetarians. I ordered one of each of the vegetarian empanadas and was given one with meat in it (I think she pulled from the wrong section as I was given the ropa vieja instead of the vegan one). the employee was willing to replace it but what I ended up with still had meat in it (not sure what it was). I think it probably wasn’t her fault as it seemed like things were just not organized properly, but it sucks to have eaten...
