Delicious empanadas, some of the best I have ever had - get the chicken mole! It's my favorite. I have to take my dog to the vet that's right across the street every Friday and I'm so glad Cafe Tola exists and that it is open early. Go support!

We had an appointment at eye care for animals Chicago, since our dog needed a small procedure, we started looking for coffee and food and we find CAFE TOLA. I saw the empanadas and I was like mmm, I decided for a coffee and a muffin my boyfriend ask for empanada š„š¤¤ he said this is soo good he chose egg and ham I tried it and since he wanted another one I decided to try chorizo con huevo! Surprise it was delicious and enough packed that I had just one accompanied for their red delicious homemade salsa! I definitely recommend this place šÆ by the way prices are great for the quality and food quantity!

Shouldnt mix politics with business. Political signs posted all over establishment makes you geel extremely uncomfortable. Food is good but somehow always either missing an item and having to go back in or given a wrong item. Would rather support other business.

We had a wedding reception across the street and we were still hungry after serving dinner. I believe her name was Noemi? My apologies on forgetting, but we ran over there within 5 minutes of closing and she was welcoming and totally hooked us up with some awesome empanadas. We got the Green Spicy Chicken, Birria and Ham, Egg & Cheese. They donāt skimp on filling and the crust is light and crispy. So good! She was the best!!

Been passing by this place but only had a chamce to try it a couple of weeks ago. I was drawn by the āHotchata Latteā which I ordered by tasted more like creamy drink. I would want the horchata taste to be more pronounced but tasted the cinnamon instead. I had the guave cheese empanada which was a hefty size and delicious. I also tried the goat torta which again the taste of goat was overshadowed by the spices, this could be good for some folks but I like to taste the goat ;)
Took my team out for lunch during an event and the food and service was amazing. I will definitely be back.!!!

Prices reflected on the menu do no match what I was charged. To top it off the burrito was a disappointment barley any meant . Wouldnāt recommend any food on the menu only like their empanadas
