Soirée Bistro and Protein Bar

Today was a late breakfast day, and these guys were so good to still make us a couple of Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Bar-itos, even though it was past 11 am. Sooooo grateful! I think that review from 12 years ago was when Protein Bar was first getting started in Chicago and it was for a different location. Now, it's a well-run operation that I frequent often. I frequent the location in River North and it is definitely worthy of 5 stars. I especially love the recent addition of Abbot's plant-based meat into the wraps and salads. This place is underrated, seriously. This is an excellent alternative to fast food. From their protein shakes to their bowls everything is very good. It is not cheap because of the natural ingredients, so it's not for the crowd who insists on big discounts on what they eat. If you want cheap go to McDonald's where their artificial food doesn't age, but if you want a tasty, and healthy option check them out.
