Both the coffee and pastries were way better pre Covid - not sure what happened.They also used to open early and now th let dont open until late morning? Became too used to support a local coffee shop when they aren’t open when the locals need you most.Lastly, they took a political stance in the Middle East, alienating a ton of customers. Will never order coffee here again

I've probably walked by this place 1,000 times and never noticed it. Popped in for a quick cappuccino. Surprised they didn't have almond milk. Maybe they ran out, but beware if this is your milk of choice. The barista was cordial and speedy. The cap was spot on. My only rub was when the payment terminal prompted for tip its default options were "25%, 30%, 35%". The tip is not the issue here. It's the well above average implication set by the machine. I chose the custom option and left a 20% tip. This still amounted to an $8, 12oz cappuccino. Slightly ridiculous when I can walk a few stores down and hit 3 different coffee shops.

Hip coffee joint division, decent selection of drinks and locally made pastries. Overall there's a nice quiet vibe that makes it a great spot to read our work remotely from.During the summer there's a walk up window and this is the only place I've found in the city that does Kyoto cold brew.

Modern urban shop with lots of plants and zebrawood (furniture, walls, ceiling) playing soft indie pop music (postal service; radiohead) under soft lights. Cool mix of soft and hard gives it a hip welcoming feel but I didn’t like that there was nobody taking your order — you had to use a kiosk. I’m too old school (or maybe just too old) for that. I’d rather have the “inconvenience” of having to talk to someone.
This was a GREAT coffee shop, with friendly employees. Sadly they’ve added a super awkward ordering kiosk that nobody seems to like. Really takes away from the friendly atmosphere they had going on.

I’ve been coming here for 3 years and it is my go to neighborhood coffee shop. The baristas contribute to the cafe experience and I am very disappointed with the new ordering system. If I wanted to order over an app, I would have done it at the Starbucks closer to my house. It’s been sad to see the baristas disappear over the last several months. Feels like the owner is losing touch with what the cafe experience entails.

The prices are not listed in the cafe. The Yelp menu is NOT accurate. My 12oz latte was $6.08. Most tables were dirty with crumbs and/or coffee stains.The batista seems miserable and is not warm or friendly. Additionally, she admitted to not having a way to measure the temperature of the latte. So, my "extra hot" beverage was just barely warm. Luckily, she reheated it for me.

The reason I gave just three stars is because of the condition of their bathrooms. It is sooooooooo dirty. I think the owner should hire a professional cleaning service to come regularly to maintain them. It was SO dirty. *cringe* i will not be going back.??
