Hip coffee joint division, decent selection of drinks and locally made pastries. Overall there's a nice quiet vibe that makes it a great spot to read our work remotely from.During the summer there's a walk up window and this is the only place I've found in the city that does Kyoto cold brew.
Modern urban shop with lots of plants and zebrawood (furniture, walls, ceiling) playing soft indie pop music (postal service; radiohead) under soft lights. Cool mix of soft and hard gives it a hip welcoming feel but I didn’t like that there was nobody taking your order — you had to use a kiosk. I’m too old school (or maybe just too old) for that. I’d rather have the “inconvenience” of having to talk to someone.
I've probably walked by this place 1,000 times and never noticed it. Popped in for a quick cappuccino. Surprised they didn't have almond milk. Maybe they ran out, but beware if this is your milk of choice. The barista was cordial and speedy. The cap was spot on. My only rub was when the payment terminal prompted for tip its default options were "25%, 30%, 35%". The tip is not the issue here. It's the well above average implication set by the machine.
