Authentic Egyptian cuisine. Super friendly and attentive staff. Lady was instrumental in looking after us. Food was fresh and flavorful. Kabobs were very tender and juicy. Best falafel I have ever eaten (this restaurant name them different, I don’t remember exactly what they called it).
Nearby parking lot was a big plus.
All four of us enjoyed the food and agreed that overall it was an amazing experience.
Great food with an authentic mom-and-pop vibe to the restaurant. Some distinctly Egyptian dishes on the menu like Tamiya, highly recommend the spicy roasted eggplant. Very reasonable prices and large portions.
First time trying Egyptian food and it was so good! The spicy eggplant was absolutely delicious, the soups were savory and hearty, and both the Cairo plate and chicken shawarma plate were so flavorful and satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, can’t wait to come back!

Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is friendly and very much customer service oriented. Food is fantastic, and you’ve got to try the Kushary (with steak and lamb)

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Egyptian restaurant in Chicago. My husband and I were visiting from St. Louis, Missouri and this was our very first meal in the city. When we mentioned that, the hospitality we received truly touched our hearts.
The food we ordered was served hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. To our surprise, they also brought us a complimentary appetizer and even a full dish from their main menu—completely free. That level of generosity and kindness is rare.
The lady who served us was incredibly sweet, welcoming and attentive. Her warm behavior made us feel so comfortable and valued as guests.
Amazing food, outstanding service and genuine hospitality. We left feeling so happy and grateful. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chicago—you won’t just get great food, you’ll get a beautiful experience. 💛🇪🇬

Delicious Egyptian food. We tried Fòul Kushari Felafel Hummus and Mezza. Fully satisfied with food and services. Quantity was more than enough. Don’t forget to try Roz Bel Laban, it’s tasty and healthy. For drinks Lemon Mint juice, it’s natural.

The food at this place was absolutely delightful, and even though we opted for vegetarian options, everything was impressive.Lamia and owner were
very gracious and generous, offering us complimentary drinks and desserts. Plus, the parking was conveniently located right across the street for just $3.

The most authentic Egyptian dine-in restaurant in the Chicagoland area. The interior is comfortable, the hospitality is outstanding, and the food is obviously top-tier. Highly recommend, 5 stars from me👍🏾
