Wanted a polish and there was a long line at the other restaurant but not here. The menu and prices and food quality are the same. The only difference is returning to the expressway so don't wait in a long line.
My favorite of all time on Maxwell St. Been going since I was a kid at the original location. So many wonderful meals here. My last meal as a single man was here. Polish, pork chop, burgers, hot dogs, everything on the menu is amazing. The same guys working here for years, and they have always taken great care of us. The place mixes all walks of life. Poor, rich, all races, religions, ethnicities, we are all welcome here. Just don't ever let @jameshanley ever order a pork chop...read full review

I have been coming here for almost 2 decades when I'm visiting the area.The best part here is they can split and grill your Polish Sausage which brings out the flavor from the center of the sausage. They listen carefully to your instructions and they are very quick here.There is two places that compete on this street a few steps away from each other. Make sure you go to the one that says "Express Grill".
