Visited first time and we loved this place! Food was freshly made and tasted as such! Service was quick and with a smile, seems like a family owned restaurant, and they treat you as such, taking the time to explain the menu items, and came back a few times with a friendly smile to check on us. their items. The chicken soup was good. You can keep in mind that the portion of chicken is very limited, though. The main dish was also good. The vegetables were tasy. The meat (beef) was a little hard though. I expected a little soft and juicy. One main dish amount was good for two of us.

HIGHLY recommended. This was my first Egyptian food experience, and the food was simple and phenomenal. The ful is the perfect blend of savory and tangy, the shawarma was flavorful and tender, and the Arab coffee was wonderful. I will absolutely be back. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the staff are very welcoming. This is now on my short list. I love Arab food, and Cairo does not disappoint. I rarely give 5 stars, but this place absolutely deserves it.
