All four of us enjoyed our meals. We began with our ususal libations. Each had: Arancini -( Fried saffron risotto, fresh mozzarella.) Mrs. Q has never had this before but it was absolutely delicious. Our daughter in law had: Gnocchi Our Son had: Bobonato The Q-tips shared: Pollo Picatta

Staff was very accommodating when arrived just before opening, giving us a seat at the bar while setting up. Pork chop Vesuvio was very good, very unique dish and tasted great. Pasta tasted great, and everything was prepared to our liking and promptly. Service was very attentive.

Wow! Absolutely fantastic experience. This team functions well together. Having a view of the kitchen while we ate I could see chefs and wait staff collaborating, talking, even taking photos of their work. It just looked like they really care about their profession. And the food....OMG. Fabulous. They know what they are doing at Carlucci's. What a gem here in Lakeshore East.

The salad was a little strange but different, not well described on the menu. our pizzas were tasty, but the sausage one I had would have benefited from more variety of ingredients. The chocolate cake dessert was quite good, and the coffee got and reasonably strong. The prices for the various items was appropriate. The service was pleasant and efficient. The maitre de was quite pleasant and took pains to tell us where the Uber would likely stop as it was raining heavily when we were departing. Overall, a superior experience.

I had never had burrata before. It was quite nice. The rigatoni was carbonara style. It was good but a bit salty. I was hoping for cannoli but they only had tiramisu (which I despise), chocolate cake, and gelato. So dessert choices were disappointing. Overall, a positive experience, but I doubt I will ever go back.

Today was the first time we had the opportunity to visit Carlucci and our server George is 100% responsible for us returning in the future. The atmosphere is very nice, the wait staff was all very nice, but George knocked it out of the park. I would say we had a nice experience overall, but George's standards were above and beyond and could tell that our experience wasn't the best it could be and he took every step he could to make our night as great as possible. We've been in Chicago for a while now and this is by far the best service we've received. 10/10 will be back and request to sit in George's section.

We walked in at 7:10 pm and were told they don't take walk ins. Reservations were available on OpenTable for 7:15 pm, 7:30 pm, 7:45 pm and after. We made reservations and went back and said we now have a reservation for 7:15 pm. The hostess was very rude, gave us a look and said:”You still have to wait a few min for the table!” Finally sat us, we ordered a salad and bread to start with and two pizzas. The waiter brought us pizzas, but no salad or bread. When we asked, he said he forgot. Then, when he was cleaning the table and picking up the silverware, he dropped a fork in my drink and smiled, apologized, and left it in the drink. Did not take it or offer another drink. Weirdest experience ever.

Excellent food and service! This will definitely be the spot that I take all of my friends to when they visit Chicago. The staff was so welcoming it felt like we were family. 10/10 recommend!

Carlucci's on Randolph has hit its stride after a somewhat shaky start and is a solid addition to the neighborhood. The Salmon Pentamente special was very good - good sized portion, nice spinach base. The Lasagna was nicely done. Their cocktails are good, although the orange in their margarita came as a bit of a surprise. Good wine list.

My sister and I enjoyed a delightful dinner at Carlucci on a recent visit to Chicago. Salad was large enough for us to split, and carote (roast carrots) a savory/sweet treat. We hit the jackpot with the evening's special, cinghiale (wild boar) served on tagliatelle -- authentic and absolutely delicious. Our server, George, treated us like returning friends. The restaurant decor is beautiful, a touch of Italy in the city. When I'm in Chicago again, I'll be sure to come back for more. And maybe this time I'll have room for their tiramisu.

It's just fine. I've been to this restaurant a couple of times for different occasions. I have to say the food is okay, but nothing phenomenal. The servers are polite but can be a bit pushy. However, the restaurant does have a nice ambiance

Great pizza. The cocktail menu changes regularly. Lots of good vegetarian options. Service quality varies.

We were looking for a Italian restaurant found this in our area, the food and service was good, visit with my boys and we have enjoyed the night. Try the salmon and the arancini the veal

First time dining at Carlucci and was highly recommended for their tiramisu from a local Chicagoan. The server was very accommodating and very nice. I regret not remembering his name but african-american male with long braids. He provided outstanding customer service. Food: calamari was very chewy, seafood needed more seasoning. Dessert: very good. Drinks: good

So disappointing. The food was awful. The service was fine. We had a party of 4 with appetizers, soup, entrees and a couple glasses of wine. First time ever we did not take any leftovers home. The lasagna was not edible.
