Carols pub has been around for many years and one thing about this Country spot is the consistency of knowing what your going to experience when coming here.
Its a decent spacious place to come have drinks and watch sports when looking for a spot on game days.
If you a country music fan like I am there always local bands playing and concerts where you can purchase tickets to up and coming live music bands.
Atmosphere is great where neighborhood regulars drop on as well the LGBTQ community regulars that live near boys town share this space.
The food isn't five stars quality and the prices could be a bit cheaper because some of the food you could cook up and serve better from your own kitchen.
As much money as many restaurants make you think they so better in taking care of loyal customers by offering over priced food items that just isn't worth the price.
Get yourself a burger hot dog so far those are the hits in the menus.
I will tell you one thing do not order the tator tots because it's buying but deep fried mash potatoes balls. The texture and taste was just gross. We were talking to an older couple that's been coming here for over 10 years and they said they always eat before coming because they refuse to pay the prices for gas station food.
Guess that's what I was trying to articulate when describing my eating experience.
None the less still worth coming out to hear great music and being surrounded in a spacious place with your company is the final destination.
I did like the jello shots you can buy for 4.00 to support local charities.
There's no free parking unless you circle around to the neighborhood. Meter parking right in front and you can catch the bus right on the corner from stepping out of the doors.

We were playing music here this past week.
They were excellent with our parking needs. They accommodated us with a booth for our merchandise, gave us drink tickets and food vouchers.
The food (fried chicken sandwich, BLT & pickle chips) was excellent, the servers was great & attentive. Overall a great bar with great service, great music đ¤đ˝

we love going to Carol's pub for Aunt Nance's cougar bingo. we always have a great time and our big groups look forward to having a fun evening together. we have usually had the same waitress but she is off for a few weeks and on this occasion the waitress was pretty disorganized and forgetful. we won't let that stop us from enjoying our time but we definitely missed the usual waitstaff and hope it was just a learning experience for the girl we had on the 27th.

It's a dive bar that has some food & some live music every now & again. Country music centric. Not the best food options but helpful to soak up beers

Carolâs is a Chicago classicâno frills, just good music, cheap drinks, and a rowdy, fun crowd. Spent about $40 on a couple of tallboys, a whiskey Coke, and their fried bologna sandwich (way better than it sounds, trust me). The live country music is always on point, and if youâre not two-steppinâ by the end of the night, youâre doing it wrong. Definitely the kind of place where you walk in for âjust one drinkâ and end up closing the bar. If youâre down for a honky-tonk good time, Carolâs is the spot!

Carol's has a great neighborhood vibe, a friendly staff and comfortable environment. The band we saw on Valentine's Day was so much fun - it felt like a party! We didn't have much to eat and although the cheese curds tasted great they were remarkably greasy. I would be willing to try them again!

I popped through on a whim as a traveller from NC exploring the city. Cool local spot. The staff was so kind and didn't mind me being a chatty Cathy. I 100% plan on coming back by again in the future!
