Centennial Crafted Beer & Eatery

Was excited to try this establishment but sadly was very disappointed. Both of us in our party didn't enjoy our dishes mine was already going cold by the time it was brought out and the fish was very oily. The ending of our evening there wasn't much better having to sit and wait for our waitress to acknowledge us to get our check.

Centennial is in a gorgeous historic building and the vibe was very cozy, neighborhood bar. Sadly the kitchen was closed, but we had great local beers, they have a large list of on tap and bottles/cans. I didn’t see a lot of macros on the list, which I always appreciate. There was also a long list of spirits and mixed drinks. I was tempted by an Aperol spritz made with beer, I’ll have to go back!

I don't understand how this establishment has a 4.6 rating??? It more like a 1.5 to 2 star. The beer was good, our server was friendly and the food was just ok. The Irish nacho appetizer was the best item we ordered. The burger, moroccan chicken and falafel were pretty sub par, especially for Chicago standards. The garnish on the falafel was the only thing I liked... that's sad. The atmosphere needs help, replacing the ridiculous chairs would be a great start. The cost of our very basic dinner was outrageous!!! when compared to it's value. I will not be returning.

Great food and experience overall! I got the taco trio and my husband got the buttermilk fried chicken plate...everything was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Stumbled here by mistake to kill time for a different bar with a waiting time , needless to say it was amazing . The staff was suuuuuuuper friendly and welcoming , pricing were great , I think the water was filtered also .

Always a great time when we visit Centennial. Ajia was delightful as our server/bartender. The food is always delicious. Love the pretzel. My go to is the lamb kefta and it's always quite yummy. My nephew tried the Moroccan chicken and said it's the best chicken he's had. And my husband tried the short rib, which was also delicious with a very sexy presentation. Shout out to Heather, Anthony and Ryan who were working last night, who always make anyone walking in the door feel special and welcome. Whether it's their first visit or the 50th. Because this team always does a great job, they will have to deal with us coming back again and again. Sorry, not sorry.

So glad I gave this place a second chance. Thank you so much Anthony for being so accommodating and checking in on us. Our sever Ryan was super attentive. And everyone else on the wait staff was incredible. The nachos were amazing. I'm still thinking about them. Drinks were also great. Overall amazing 2nd visit! My friend lives nearby so we will definitely be making this a regular stop moving forward.

This is my type of place. Really cool pub vibe, friendly service, tasty food, and a rare variety of beer on tap. Will make a point to go every time I'm in Chicago.

We've been visiting Centennial for almost three years, and we love this place. Drinks are good and food is good. I finally had their buttermilk chicken, delicious. By the way, when I say good, I mean delicious for food and drink. Oh, garage beer, yep delicious. Thanks to the crew for taking care of us.

A gem! Whole group really enjoyed their beer choices and food was solid. Service was super friendly and attentive! Would definitely come back.
