My mom aunt and I went here on thursday night at 10:35 for cocktails - they’re open until 12. When I asked the closing bartender for a cocktail menu because my phone wasn’t loading he told me he wasn’t doing those cocktails anyways since they were closing soon. so we decided to order a vodka cran and 2 cosmos. When I apologized for the inconvenience of the late night drinks bc I thought they closed at 12 he responded with that they do last call at 11:15 to which I reiterated that it was only 10:30. I watched him make the cosmos by pouring in the vodka and cranberry, then close the shaker to have to reopen it bc he forgot the orange liqueur. then he closed it and then had to reopen it and poured the like juice in. I don’t understand how a very nice rooftop bartender in chicago doesn’t know how ti make a cosmo. When we tasted them it was all orange liqueur and lime juice so we had to get extra shots of vodka just to make them tolerable. the 3 drinks cost $90!!! In what world does a vodka cranberry and a cosmo cost the same amount?? And then add another $50 for the two shots we needed. Total was $140 for awful cocktails (20% gratuity included) and for a rude bartender who wanted to close up early at 10:30 when they didn’t close until 12. This was unacceptable to me as someone who personally is a server at a high end cocktail bar. I will never be back and will be telling people to avoid this rooftop as the service and drinks were not in the league of a chicago rooftop bar.

The atmosphere is probably the best, it has nice views. We were mainly only there to chill, so only had drinks and appetizers.

Really being generous with these 2 stars because the music was on point and the bar staff is always so kind. My favorite host sadly was off work last nightBut the host/security they had seemed to have known me and the other black people with Locs in another lifetime and hated us. First thing I said was “excuse me can I step by yall to get to the restroom?” And he barked back “you need to wait you see I’m doing this (handing back an id he just checked)”, although the people he checking all stepped back. I waited anyway because why are you so spicy when you can just not block the doorway (which is a fire hazard)? After entering, Every time I looked up he was staring at my partner and me. I watched him step by step follow someone who looked like me, tall queer and black with locs, from the door to the bar to the rooftop and back around and it was completely unwarranted. There weren’t many people in the space and it was pretty easygoing; he contradicted the entire vibe being so discomfortingly adamant on watching us. Security should be there to support patrons in feeling secure, not to profile and agitate people for no reason. It seemed he wanted someone to ask why he was watching so he could have reason to react aggressively. Too bad I was just there to have a good time and not entertain his quench for drama. If you see the big bald black dude hosting, take the elevator right back down. He’s not fun to be around.

They automatically charge a 20% “service charge” for all drinks! Even if you just get one… they dont tell you this so you can overlook it and double tip. No one should be tipping an automatic $7 tip for 1 drink. What a scam!

Went with my mom and sister and was uncomfortable with the fact that an employee of the establishment who didn't work in the actual bar was hovering around us. It was weird and it felt like we were being watched.Additionally, we ordered a charcuterie board which lacked three things. The waiter didn't let us know about the missing items. Instead, I realized after I looked at the menu again that we were missing those items. We would've been charged the full price had I not noticed.Additionally, the service fee charged was 24 dollars which is fine if it went to the waiter. But it was mediocre service. I probably won't be back.Parking: Choose the rolls royce self parking garage. It's around the corner and easy to access.

Pricey, loud, and there were fruit-flies in the place. The place has a lot of potential but not well run.
