For the price, this place is perfect. Even outside of the price, there are some real hitters on the menu. Chorizo and any torta both come to mind.

Love this place. I come here for their Tue, Wed, and Thur lunch deals that are some of the best deals I’ve found in the city. The food is fresh and delicious (nothing crazy but solid and consistent!), the staff are always super friendly, and it comes out fresh and quick every time. Would recommend dining in for lunch on a Tue, Wed, or Thu, you won’t regret it and will become a weekly regular!

Well let's start off with this is ny first time going to this place and will definitely be my last. First when I tried placing a order they answered and hung up so unprofessional. And then they called me back ok fine I place my order. I couldn't stress this enough on how I wanted my food. I specifically said no cheese. No cheese on my food whatsoever not on my taco or my beans. Guess what was on my food. Cheese! I swear I repeated it more than once about how I did not want cheese. I was so dam disappointed my food was ruined. Sure I could've gone back but I'm not even from that area I was on the go. If I wasn't I would've dined in. My experience was not the best I was left hungry. I tried eating around it. Nope the meat wasn't even good quality. I'm definitely never coming back.

Ordered the super nachos with steak from DoorDash around 11:30 PM on 8/21... and opened the box to find a metal SCREW sitting on top of the food. I called the restaurant and spoke to a very confused employee who didn't seem to understand anything I said and could only direct me to "call back when the manager is in." I understand accidents happen, but cannot comprehend how this order was sent out without anyone noticing a foreign object sitting directly on the top. Avoid this place at all costs.

The servers are kind and accommodating, and the food is exactly what you need from a casual mexican place. The tuesday - thursday specials are also always an insanely good deal. It's a sweet neighborhood locale.

Charcoal guacamole always hits the spot. I think of it as tier 1 on a two-tiered Mexican restaurant situation on Clark Street. The other being the one on Lawrence. But charcoal guacamole steps it up by having fresher food and dessert options. Both are 24/7. But I think charcoal's better.

An extremely friendly crowd 24/7, friendly and familiar staff, and stellar food. You can come here after a late work shift to eat and watch a telenovela. This is also one of the easiest places locally to find goat, tripas, and tongue.

I just came && the food was delicious and the lady was amazing, forgot her name because I'm tipsy. Loved the energy of the place. The ceviche was simply amazing. Highly recommended!!!
