Just got the Charly's Burger & this thing was amazing!!! The mixed beef & pork combo is excellent together. Also two 6oz patties, is massive. Great taste, great flavor, great burgers. Definitely well worth checking them out.

I swung by for lunch and grabbed the Charly’s Burger Combo—two juicy patties, American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and that special sauce, all tucked into a sesame seed bun. The combo comes with fries and a drink. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the burger was cooked just right—messy in the best way. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a go-to when you're craving a good burger in the area.

Second time in this place. Air conditioning wasn't working, music was too loud (maybe I'm just too old). Waited 25 minutes to get a burger and fries. Food was fine, not sure if worth the wait. I'd go back for the fresh cut fries if in the neighborhood.

Today we went on an incredible motorcycle ride to the lake and swam all day. Got super sunburned. Then it started pouring. We were freaking starving and needed a burger. My boyfriend recommended Charly’s burger. I had never been before but my jaw is to the freaking floor. Not only was the service quick and sweet, but every bite melted in my mouth. It felt like every Fourth of July bbq met at charly’s burgers and hashed out the best burger in Chicago. I want a bucket of the cheesy jalapeño sauce for the fries and put it on everything. The burger was juicy and phat. But honestly a mega highlight was the hot dog - best Chicago dog I’ve tasted. Anyways. 10/10

My tummy is full from my first Charly’s burger today and I’m already planning when I can eat my next one. So incredibly delicious, incredible value for the amount of food, and Charly himself was so kind and welcoming. What a gem of a place.

When the owners is there the food is fantastic. When he's not there food quality goes down. How do you mess up a charred hot dog? My hot dog was cold in the middle and no charr at all. To the owner If you see this please train your workers correctly. The bald guy at the cashier is lazy talked very low barely could hear him and he forgot my 2 sides of cheese. I had to go all the way back and to get them and he made it seem like it was my fault he forgot. I honestly wanted to go back again and get a refund.

However, what completely threw me off was that I tried to call to make adjustments to my order about 5 minutes after leaving, I called twice: no answer. Called a couple of times more and no answer. I live about 7 minutes away walking distance so I made my way to the restaurant, we pick up our food and I asked one of the guys there if there was something wrong with the phone because by the time I got there I had tried over 15 times and absolutely NO ONE answered the phone. The guy there who gave me my phone then tells me the phone is working fine and should have been the distance perhaps. I live 7 minutes away….. before this, my brother also tried calling from his device 10+ times and yet no answer. When we got to the restaurant there was absolutely no one there so it wasn’t an excuse of being busy. Never had this issue regarding the phone until now. I double checked that my device was working since it was dialing. Please do a better job answering the phone when trying to place an order or to adjust/add on.
