Daebak Korean BBQ Reviews
Came in for a lunch and order 2 soups and $22 per soup is not cheap either. But the server said we have to order at least 2 more meats to start the order. So she won't take our order. We cannot eat there if we don't order at least 2 meats. We can't even order just 1 meat and a bunch of other stuffs. The Server tell us to leave if we don’t order 2 meats to start 😰Never heard of any restaurant having this kind of policy.
It was my 1st time eating Korean BBQ. The food was delicious and it's fun to have the BBQ cooked at your table. I loved all the side dishes and all 3 types of meat we had were very tasty and tender. I didn't find the staff to be very friendly, that would have made the atmosphere so much better. I felt the price was unexpectedly high but it was definitely something I would do again.
Nice Korean barbecue now located in Chicago’s Chinatown.

Daebak Korean BBQ offers a lively atmosphere with fun Kpop tunes and a clean environment. The all-you-can-eat option for $30 includes unlimited beef, chicken, or pork, which you cook yourself. The food, although not the best, is complemented by amazing service. The bulgogi is a bit too sweet, but the spicy pork and Soondubu Jigae are recommended. The kimchi jigae tasted like ketchup, and the meat quality often turns out tough and lacking flavor. The restaurant provides an eclectic choice of side dishes, though some wish ingredients came in one bowl or as a set. Despite being a bit understaffed, the pricing is good. The seating includes short backless stools, and the noise level could be improved for a more enjoyable dining experience.
