This is not a good experience. I would only come here if you want food that has no love served by someone who has no idea what’s in your dish and doesn’t care if it’s correct or not when it arrives. If you need breakfast, I would continue down Michigan Avenue and you’ll find other breakfast restaurants.

This place is a very nice, clean breakfast spot serving mostly different versions of pancakes and waffles. However, we also liked that it had many other dishes of skillets, salads, eggs benedict, breakfast burritos, burgers, crepes , and french toast. It definitely has a varied menu for everyone. I wish i can give it 5 stars, but the waffles and pancakes were dry. Not hard, not chewy, but just dry. I felt that without the toppings there wasn’t much flavor to them. However, with the toppings that came in them, they were good, but not great ;( We ordered the Waffle Flight (which is a quarter waffle of each of their flavors, so 4 in total) and the build your own skillet that came with a side of pancakes in which we added Nutella and candied walnuts of course! ;) All in all, good breakfast place but not impressed. Most likely better than what’s around though, so don’t skip it.

This place is a good local spot and it tends to be really busy so it’s good enough that people go and/or keep going back. The coffee is on the better side and the food is good. It doesn’t blow me away but I do like it a lot for a place that’s right around the corner. The menu has a lot of options and the food tends to be prepared quickly.

We made a reservation for Christmas and they confirmed our reservation when we reached there they said that they are not seeing any more people even though we reached at the time of our reservation and then we spoke to the manager and they made some excuse about some unforeseen circumstances And all it was a very bad experience. 10 on 10 won’t recommend to go there.

My fiancé ordered the maple sausage skillet that came with pancakes and I ordered the green tea waffles added blueberries. Everything came nice and hot. It was a 30min wait so we decided to order an Irish coffee at the bar which was also pretty good. Service was great.

Excellent breakfast place...I got the blue berry waffles and fried chicken...my husband got the cinnamon roll waffles...so tasty and they serve a house aioli with the potatoes and onions that is amazing 🤩

When we sat down our table was dirty and when we asked for an employee to clean it off he gave us a nasty attituide. Food is esthetically pleasing but definitely did not match the taste. I got the steak skillet and was so excited just for it to be bland and greasy. I couldn't eat it. Wasn't worth the hype in my opinion.
Detective work is hard and my partner and I decided we needed to fuel before tackling crime. Chicago Waffles was new to us and we arrived around 945am on a Saturday. The place was fairly empty so we were seated promptly.
The decor is very vibrant - the walls are colorful and art all over the walls. The waitress was very kind and willing to offer suggestions. I will say the food was delicious. The pictures in the menu don't do them justice because the portion sizes are big. I will be back (my partner maybe if he beats the case)

Stopped in for a late morning breakfast. The menu is expensive, with lots of options. Luckily the waitress was super knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations. I went with the waffle sandwich and it was plenty of food, super delicious. I also ordered the Chicago waffles martini, which is essentially an espresso martini. Very delicious!
