I had went last night to order a large combination fried rice no shrimp and went I got home yesterday since I lived far away they gave me shrimp I’m allergic to shrimp so I couldn’t eat it., I called back and talked to Marcos the receptionists guy and he said he was gonna put a ticket order for me next day at 12:00 noon so when I got here today the Men behind the counter said I had to pay., why would I have to pay again since they mess up my order it should be a free order…. I will never go back there again

I visited this restaurant during our trip to Chicago. I tried the Mongolian beef — it was really delicious, the portion size was great, and the price was very reasonable. I also tried their burger on another visit, and it was excellent too.

$12 for a small beef fried rice is straight up robbing. Small is a pint box, not quart. They have the audacity to promote “buy one get one free” beef fried rice for $24.95 (rob you twice). Go ahead and find me a carry out Chinese restaurant that sells a small beef fried rice for $12. Ridiculous!

Worst Chinese I’ve had in the city since moving to Chicago in 2022. When I go to a Chinese restaurant, I expect Chinese food. Instead, I was given chicken that tasted more like it came out of a Mexican restaurant and not from a place called China doll, and for $20 for literally chicken and rice is ridiculous. I only came here because it was open at it was 11pm on a Sunday but I wish I would have saved my money.
For example, the “orange” chicken taste more like birria with red sauce than it does orange chicken. It’s even red..

This was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had! My husband and I tried a variety of things (beef, chicken, fried rice, noodles, sushi) and every single one was horrible, even the fried rice. I took 1 bite of the sushi and almost threw up. I’m not a picky eater at all, but this was just garbage.

I started getting delivery from there recently and it was AMAZING - so fast, food was still steaming by the time it got to me, eggrolls were perfect. I thought I finally found that old timey Americanized but so good chinese take out. But... then it just got worse. Ordered delivery again and orange chicken was not as crispy, vegetables tasted... sour... Then yesterday was final straw. Orange chicken not as hot as before. Vegetables sour. And fried rice - cold. Like room temperature, left out on the counter cold. Eggrolls were still great. So im concerned about the sanitation practices. Luke warm , cold rice can be super harmful, and while I was not expecting them to make it from scratch at that price point... it shouldn't be room temperature.... either it's refrigerated or hot. Orange chicken was still kinda hot, reheated it in the microwave just in case. It was fine. But being delivered room temperature rice, with hot chicken implied to me it happened in the restaurant, not like delivery driver just had it too long in the car or something.

The cashier was so nice and friendly and really made sure I got food fresh food and utensils by explaining to his kitchen staff what I needed.
I took Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice and they did not disappoint. Amazing taste. Try them if you are in Chicago.
