Excellent Kung pao chicken, and the sauce has a very nice consistency. Not too thick. Also, they’ll make it extra spicy if you ask. Good veggie egg rolls too. Highly recommend. It’s mostly takeout/delivery, so I don’t really have a comment about the interior.
I got the chicken lo mein. It comes with chicken fried rice at the bottom. Flavor was very bland but you get a lot of good for cheap. You get what you paid for. My chicken was undercooked and I requested they make it new. But after sitting for a few minutes waiting on the food, I realized it was kind of gross and I didn’t want to eat it again. I ended up leaving, didn’t request refund since they were already making my second plate.i don’t recommend going here tbh unless you are very hungry and there’s no other option
One of the last few really good old school Chinese places left around for us to enjoy. I've tried quite a few things here and haven't found anything I didn't like. XL versions of a dish are definitely best bang for your buck but still everything is reasonably priced anyways. But to be fair, I got XL chicken lo mein and you can eat a whole meal of it and it looks like you barely touched it. Lo mein for days is great and it tastes just as good as a leftover. Egg fu young is the way it's supposed to be. Egg fu young needs to have good gravy and good patties, they do both and they don't skimp on the meat in the patties either. Appetizers are great, most places don't have shrimp toast so that is awesome. One time I was hanging with some friends and family and we spent like $90 and we got a heavy box full of delicious food with leftovers for pretty much every one. I make ma PO tofu at Christmas for my family but theirs put mine in its place and humbly reminds me that there levels to this. Their soups are amazing. Their Hot and sour soup is top 3 I've had. Their fried rice is amazing too, definitely worth the XL size if you're tempted and I personally love the pork fried rice but any of them will taste great. Overall, this place will leave you with two questions... Why didn't know about this place sooner and why didn't I spend more money? But seriously, you will not regret this place.
Fantastic quick option for Chinese food. Extensive menu, low prices, and MASSIVE portions. Staff is really friendly and food is delicious. Lunch special is a great deal. Highly recommend.
We have been coming for over 30 years
Still the best!
Searched for a real good fried rice near me as my favorite place was a bit far and my second fave is closed on Tuesdays. Order chicken, fried rice and the chicken wings, lets just say I’ll never order from this place ever again. The other 7 adults with me also agreed. Chicken wings were not good at all, a taste that was not to our liking. Fried rice was bland, can taste the oil. Hate to leave a bad review, but not sure what others are talking about. It was takeout but place seemed clean, quick interaction with the lady behind the window - no complaints for cleanliness.
I just had to stop by and say that this is pretty the best chinese I've ever had. I've shared it with friends a few times now and they all agree! It just a small place but they have always delivered good quality food, quickly and everyone I've dealt with has been very nice and helpful. The crab rangoons and lo mein are my favorites.
Chop Suey Huang has some of the best house fried rice that I’ve ever had! The rice was so rich with flavors and fresh and tasted just as good as hibachi fried rice. They also have these huge chicken wings that are to die for! The wings are seasoned to perfection and taste so fresh. The chicken didn’t have a bad scent and tasted very good I highly recommend. Their low mein is also very delicious as well! Very well prepared and put together with its how they were to make it taste so good! The vegetable rolls are also so good. Customer service is wonderful as well you won’t be disappointed ordering your food here!

I never leave reviews but this was the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. Chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and Mongolian beef were all 10/10 and you get a good portion of food for the prices.

Honestly it’s so good that I drive from Rogers Park to get it. It’s so unsuspecting, you wouldn’t think the food is that good but it’s delicious. A hidden gem. I recommend the combination fried rice, crab Rangoons
Been going to this place for 5 years. Place is always fantastic, service is always good and professional. Love the food.
Dietary restrictions: You can always tell them if you want to cut down on salt for some dishes. Such as msg, sauces, and having your food at a certain spice level. Really helped me a lot.
