About Dancen

Dancen is a cozy and unique restaurant in Chicago, offering a warm atmosphere and delicious Korean cuisine. The menu features popular dishes such as the "fire chicken with cheese" and "sweet pea and spicy pork skin," which are highly recommended by customers. The restaurant is small, with limited seating, but makes up for it with generous portion sizes that can easily serve two people. The interior has a charming setting, creating a welcoming environment for both casual gatherings and relaxed date nights.

The food is consistently excellent, with customers praising the authentic and soulful flavors. The kimchi stew, in particular, is described as the best in the city, bringing back memories of traditional Korean cuisine. The service is also noted as friendly and genuine, catering to the needs of all customers, including those with special requirements.

While the decor may be considered outdated, the restaurant's focus on quality and heart shines through, making it a memorable dining experience. Parking is available on the street across from the restaurant, and though prices may seem steep, the value and quantity of the food make it a worthwhile visit for Korean food enthusiasts.

One of the best late night spots in the city!
Just about the best drunk dining option for my tastes anywhere on the far north side. The jeon are uniformly delicious and the grilled options all hit in a big way . Don't sleep on any of the spicy stews. Grab a Cass and a bottle of soju and save the regret for the following morning!
