Been really frustrated with the incredibly high prices (don’t know what I expected moving into the city haha) but this place has really good prices, a great selection, and everyone from the workers to the customers were friendly. Will be back!
Man, what a cool concept this place is. I know it's not new, and certainly not the only place that has done it, but it's the only place in the area I know of that's a bar/liquor store combo. And normally I would expect a place like that to be pretty dingy, but Cardinal is actually really clean! Great beer and liquor store with a side bar attached. Beer selection in the shop is broad - German, Austria, Polish, Belgian, American etc. The bar is mostly older crowd coming in for a couple of cheap beers and TV watching but the atmosphere is great and people mind their business. Close to other bars in the area.
