Stopped by Church's Texas Chicken on 59th & Ashland for lunch and spent about $14. Grabbed the 3PC Combo with spicy chicken, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. Chicken was crispy and juicy, with just the right kick. Mashed potatoes were creamy, and that honey-butter biscuit? Pure heaven. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Definitely my go-to spot for comfort food.
Been craving for church’s chicken for about a year. Little over a year later, since i’ve moved to IL, I’ve decided to drive about an hour to have it and it was worth every minute and seconds. Juicy as I remember it and flavorful. Only thing is this is the closest from where i live(northbrook). I miss having church’s chicken around the corner back in my home city(LasVegas).
Hit up the Church's on 59th for a quick bite. Grabbed a 3-piece spicy combo with mashed potatoes and a biscuit—ran me about $9. Chicken was decent, but not as crispy as I'd like. Mashed potatoes were solid, biscuit could've been warmer. Service was a bit slow, but staff was friendly. Not bad for a fast-food fix, but nothing to write home about.
