Chef Gus is a legend. It had been so long since I’ve seen someone test their craft with such care and passion. This is hands down the best food I’ve had in Chicago.
I ordered one classic Italian beef it was so good I walked out of there with 5 items. I’m from North NJ and have a very high standard for Italian food. This surpassed all expectations.
Not only was the Italian beef, amazing but the Italian sausage combo, the chicken Parm sandwich, the Caprese sandwich and Caprese salad
No exaggeration I was blown away and do not remember a time I was this fully impressed by a food spot.
Thanks to chef Gus for the most memorable food experience in Chicago. I couldnt stop eating haha! Amazing.

Food was AMAZING!!! We had two orders of potatoes, three meatball samwiches, two of the Italian beef samwiches, and two spaghettis. Everything was great…especially the gentleman working, Gus. So glad we ate here!

Had the wonderful hot beef samich (wet). Definitely a spot I would return to on the Navy Pier. Definitely, a five napkin experience. I used a knife and fork and escaped unscathed.

If you are in Chicago, you need to go to Chef Ciccio’s. The food here is INCREDIBLE! We got Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches, Italian Beef Sandwiches, Meatball Sandwiches, and the Combo Sandwiches, and everything was absolutely delicious! We had family in from all over the country and everyone loved their food. Thank you to all the workers at Chef Ciccio for making our day!

I see a lot of the reviews that comment on the great food. That is a given. I wanted to add that we showed up with a party of 16, lots of different variations in the orders, drinks, etc. They managed our requests with great accuracy, and efficiency. Within 5-7 minutes all our orders were complete and, of course, great in taste. My wife and I shared the standard Italian beef and the caprese sandwich for both the meat and vegetarian part of the menu. Both were delicious.
