Food is fine but unremarkable. Nothing really stands out. The main advantage is the location, which is convenient. Otherwise, it is just ok and not a place you go to for the food itself.

What a kind atmosphere! The food tasted homemade and we were serviced so well- offering extra napkins, water cups and to go bins. A great quick stop for warm food at Navy pier!

10/10 phenomenal food and service. The gentleman behind the counter was so kind and the food he made was unmatched. He was one of the only places open on christmas and honestly I would have eaten anything. We really lucked out with just how good the food was. He said my husband and I were the first people to wish him a merry Christmas and that alone makes me want his business to thrive and prosper. Thank you for being open and kind. Food was absolutely amazing and i highly recommend the chicken al pesto sandwich

This place was open on Christmas day, welcomed by the nicest man you could ask for. He was running the register, making the food, and just doing it all. Excellent food, excellent service. Thank you!!

Great little spot tucked away at Navy Pier with yummy local staples like Italian beef and sausage. In a quieter corner so it worked well for us and our kids to reset for a bit. Awesome service and the Italian Beef was great!

Thank God Uncle Gus made our sandwich because Mario was taking too long!
All jokes aside - this place was AMAZING!! One of the best Italian beef’s in all of the Chicago area! Italian sausage was just as good! Uncle Gus and Mario know exactly what they’re doing. We’ll definitely be back!

All I say is wow…amazing food and service. Good enough I may move to Chicago just to eat here. The prices are almost more than fair.

So friendly and very good sandwiches!
You will turn yourself into a greasy sweaty mess (their giard is hot hot) around a swarm of tourists in matching t shirts eating here but it's one of the most unique and satisfying beefs in the city. Yes it's worth going to the Pier sometimes, yes everything else on the menu is also solid but those little fingerling potatoes swimming around in a pool of rich jus make this meal feel much more expensive than what it is.

Excellent meatball sandwich made with care and authenticity. The place is at the corner by the shakespeare theater and I missed it the first time. Glad I went back!
