Coach's Bar & Grill is a neighborhood sports bar on Northwest Highway in Norwood Park. My love and I were lured here one Sunday evening by our friends who like to eat and drink. Coach's has a big bar area in the center and tables along the sides of the bar, and there is a pool table too. The TV screens were broadcasting various football games to get you in the mood to drink.They had a promotional poster on the wall touting a $20 "football special" that includes a large thin crust pizza and 8 wings. It's probably not a well-known special, so we flagged down the young man who is the proprietor and yes indeed we could get that special. The sausage tavern-style pizza was not bad, and along with the BBQ wings was a fine "light" dinner for the four of us. They also have a $3 special (!) for a pint of Guinness, so I had to get that too. To complete the sports bar motif, the men's room features quotes on the walls by famous sports figures.

I ordered the steak and parmesan fries. The steak was just ok, but the fries were lying in a pool of butter at the bottom of the plate. The server stated this was normal and couldn't care less about my displeasure! I've ordered this same meal over the last few years, when staying at this hotel, and it's never been this bad. I would leave zero stars if I could!

ZERO STARS!!!!!I had to click on one star for the review to post. This place is absolutely horrible since it's new owners. They changed the menu and the food is not eatable anymore, absolutely disgusting food. The owners and employees are rude and unpleasant, they make you feel very uncomfortable. The atmosphere is as dead as a graveyard too. I guarantee you they will be out of business soon and rightfully so, it's their own fault.

About a average looking Sports Bar on the border of where Suburbia meets the city of chicago. There was nothing special about the bear here and there was not much to choose from. They have a brewery that's across the street that's much more unique and had some of the same bear that this bar hand. At least they have big garage doors they allow big openings for fresh air in warm months

Great food and friendly service. Our waiter Ramiro was very nice. He even came outside to give us our leftovers we had left at the table by accident. That was above and beyond our expectations.
