My favorite neighborhood place! I’ve had many good nights with friends here. The food and staff are so amazing! The perfect spot for Chicago winter nights! Ramen and sushi are amazing!
Came here on a Tuesday evening with a party of three. We were seated promptly by the friendly wait staff. Their fryer was broken so we didn’t get a chance to try anything that required it. The seaweed salad, cold tofu with bonito flake sauce, and the various rolls were excellent! I finished off the meal with some fantastic red bean ice cream with the anko topping. Definitely recommend trying this place out!
Been looking everywhere in illinois for a Japanese restaurant that has Japanese speaking people to practice but couldn’t find any until I went here. The most friendly atmosphere and real Japanese food that makes you feel like you’re in Japan. It’s a little pricey but honestly worth it. Even outside of my Japanese bias it’s still my favorite restaurant right now.
