Creative, high quality dishes. A bit pricey, though it lives up to the cost. The steak tartare was very flavorful. Its was quite dressed for a tartare, i.e. not meat-forward. The duck was fantastic, as was the saffron prawn gnocchi. Like the flavors or not, none of the dishes were boring, ingredients were great, and the execution was beyond question. The blood and sand was perhaps the best balanced smoky scotch cocktail I’ve had. Partner’s bohemian was also very good.

Deeply mediocre experience. Food was unimpressive, atmosphere not particularly charming, service was okay. Not worth the price tag.

Great food. Great service. Very small space. Small portions. High prices.

A lovely, modest evening with charming and professional service and deliciously prepared modern French plats!! Excellent cocktails. Tiny wine list is just about perfect, though a good Cru Beaujolais would be a good addition.

We both had the Restaurant Week prix fixe. I chose the sliced veg salad, and my husband had the mushroom soup. Both were good. The entre we selected was the flank steak. Very tender and cooked to our orders. The potatoes needed help; too crunchy. The desert we picked was the cheesecake. They are the smallest slices I've ever seen.

I've been twice and the Bordeaux Short Rib is beyond phenomenal. Get it.

Service was cold, waitress was dull . Seating was not comfortable as my partner was sitting right bind someone else on the table next to us. We went during restaurant week and it was Very Disappointing. Food didn't come out in order its supposed to. Foie gras was tiny like a size of the nickle , and on my Cheese Dumplings order there were only 3 tiny balls. Steak was unflavored and chewy . Crem Brule was burnt. For $59 a person the value is very poor. Overall very disappointed and dissatisfied experience. Prices are too high for the area and the service. Will not Come back and advise to choose other places for French dining. Try again Brasserie.

Visited early on a snowy Friday evening before a show. Everything was excellent. Party of 6 and we all left happy. Appetizers, entrees and desserts were all delicious. Service was great. We'll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Brasserie C & C. The owner made special cocktails as we briefly waited for our table, the service was solid and prompt, and our food was both interesting and delicious.

Excellent service and drinks. Diverse app selection including Duck, Duck, Goose Spring Roll composed of duck confit, foie gras and cabbage with plum sauce. Delicious. Love the gigantic Romaine Wedge and French Onion Soup. Wish there was more main course options and/or the selections would change. Smoky butternut squash pasta was tasty and unusual.

We visited and loved this place in the late summer when my companion moved to Edgewater and due to timing on our part, finally made it back when they returned after taking a break for the holidays. BCC has found its footing after its first year in this incarnation, we had a fabulous dinner! Cocktails to start were a Oaxacan Pomegranate (mezcal) for my while she had the Kingly Peach (house basil-infused vodka). We opted for two favorite appetizers, Wild Seafood Ceviche and Curried Cauliflower which were both better than we remembered (n.b., already our faves; for the cauliflower, request a spoon for the sauce; an earlier version was drier). Her dinner was the mushroom & caper gnocchi while I opted for the special, smoked agnolotti which I seem to recall from one of their past 3-course specials. Overall, superb! Past favorites include their short rib and salmon. 3 course specials on many weekends, my secret hack is that sometimes appealing items could be ordered a la carte on Sunday if they are not already sold out. Also happy hour pricing on cocktails and regular appetizers 4-6 PM, great if you decide to eat earlier!

I participated in a private event here and was able to try out their private tasting menu. I left the place feeling full.- Course 1 (Crown toro hamachi): this was an interesting idea on paper but I thought the execution wasn't great. Beautiful presentation but flavors felt lacking. More acid or salt would've added much more depth. The fish itself didn't taste fresh. I also wish the citrusy notes of the calamansi were stronger since I could barely taste it.- Course 2 (kabocha squash bisque): absolute masterpiece served in such a cute cup. The soup was beautifully creamy with a mildly sweet taste and a slight tang possibly from tomato. The crunchy fried onion bits and the trout roe added great textural intrigue. I loved the brilliant combination of smoked trout and the roe to add umami-ness to the soup. Best dish of the night for me.- Intermission (Iranian saffron fettuccine): this dish was served family-style and they made sure everyone had a loaded plate of this delicious goodness. My table had 6 people and we got 2 huge plates pictured to share. Fettuccine was perfectly al dente, coated with an incredibly creamy sauce. The saffron aroma was very (pleasantly) present. The bacon, pecorino, and cured duck yolk each provided its own unique texture but worked together beautifully to create incredibly flavorful bites.- Course 3 (braised lamb shoulder): tender lamb with a nice kick from the harissa. Fresh dill as garnish was definitely a plus. A solid dish but nothing remarkable- Palate cleanser: I really enjoyed this. The passion fruit sorbet wasn't too sweet. The prosecco gelee was such a great texture addition. Very refreshing and fun.- Course 4 (earl grey creme brulee): another excellent flavor combination I wish I came up with. However, this was way too sweet for me. The tartness of the pomegranate helped but I went through all of them within the first 3 bites. The creme brulee was also stiff at the edges, a tell-tale sign of being overcooked. I couldn't eat more than half of this dish.- Goodbye bite (warm valrhona chocolate cookie): it wasn't warm. Very crunchy. Arguably one of the worst cookies I have ever had.

This is my second time at Brasserie by C&C and the food was every bit as delicious as the first. The chef creates layers of flavors without the typical restaurant overreliance on salt. Sooo good and increasingly rare imo. Started off with the butter board - just incredible. Had the Hamachi Crispy Rice, the short ribs, and a special which I can't remember at the moment...I do know we practically licked our plates. I recommend going with people who want to share so you can try more than one main. We wrapped up with the Donuts du Monde - a fun, fresh nod to beignets. Service was excellent. Looking forward to my next visit!
