Had to order at a kiosk, no in person ordering. Kiosk asks a million and one questions that make it slow. Out of Diet Coke, wife's regular Coke didn't taste right. My iced tea kind of smells like honey and also tastes a little weird. No straws available. My wife had the grill cheese which was mediocre. I had the Uptown Avocado, where the bread was at least a week old. Best part was sitting outside on the canal.

i asked for a lemonade and a cinnamon roll and they had no lemonade, so i got an iced tea instead. they just rung up for the iced tea, so i asked again for a cinnamon roll. the lady said yeah, but then did not get one or change what they rung up, so i gave up. the iced tea was kinda flavorless, so i poured it out and got sprite, but there were floaters in it. cut my losses and left. the atmosphere was like any other coffeeshop type place. kinda baffled by the experience in general. they seemed pleasant enough but they didn't seem to be listening very well

It's in a very convenient location, which means the rent must be steep.

It's also understaffed and almost empty on a busy Sunday morning. Orders are per kiosk only. Modern, muted Muzak plays during long waits for those kiosk orders. The service that does exist is very pleasant, however.

No napkin dispenser here, so grab some extra from one of Union Station's competing eateries before arriving. (The franchise owner will appreciate it.)

Last, the food is meh. Chicken soup recipe of years ago has been downgraded to include more processed pasta (CiCi's Pizza all you can eat soup, anyone?) and fewer vegetables.

Why is it possible to leave on the counter, and leave on the menu of digital kiosk, and charge for the cake you don't have? And then just easy offering replacement and being so surprised about the refund.
It's not normal

I went in. Went to the kiosk put in my order for a bagel. It look them 20 mins to get my bagel. They serviced four people that came after me, I asked about my bagel & said my order was a “call in”. Mind you, I have the ticket number in my hand. This place either needs more staff or a more better way of working.

The sausage breakfast wrap was pretty decent, it does need a little spice or extra seasoning. The service was great, the two workers were very nice and welcoming while it was very busy.

Visiting the home city with younger siblings not from here. They’re just treating it as another vacation destination to do the same things at.

Headed to Corner Bakery at Union Station with my mom like we used to on Saturdays, just for the nostalgia. The two ladies working immediately understood what was dragging me down. Made my old order just like I used to get it, cracked jokes, and boosted my mood right back up.

Everything may change after 20 years, but sometimes you can still get the same memory. Thank you to Tan and your chef, you two were miracle workers for me today!

My family and I waited 30 minuets for an order that was mostly wrong and cold. Had to go to the counter to tell them we had been waiting so long and still had to wait after. We weren’t the only ones either. Saw three other people complaining to employees.

Along with that the employees were not welcoming or much help. Not a single one had a smile on their face and were rather aggressive with customers.

Sitting in the cafe right now for about 20 minutes and have heard the staff be severely rude or abrasive with 3 customers already (not me, thankfully). I work nearby and unfortunately, this isn’t a one-off. The staff at this location must not have had ANY customer service training when it reopened. It really looks bad on the entire chain. Yikes!
