TL:DR - The shanghai chicken salad and buffalo blue sandwich are both super simple in their ingredient list, but delicious when eating. The eatery itself never seems clean or welcoming. Lunch rush can take forever as there seems to always be more call in and online orders than people ordering in store. Cosi is like Bread Co. that exclusive serves flatbread as far as bread goes. Even then, it was surprisingly good. I got the taste two combo with shanghai chicken and buffalo blue sandwich. I will say the shanghai chicken salad was surprisingly good. The salad is simple in terms of ingredients with spring mix, grilled chicken, scallions, carrots (I think), and a delicious Asian vinaigrette. The vinaigrette is honestly the star of the show. It's like, flavorful, and just enough oil content that it makes you want slurp just the dressing. It's not super sour, but slightly sweet and slightly savory. Beyond that, the buffalo blue sandwich was surprisingly good even with its simple ingredient list. It's a cold sandwich with some shredded chicken, super basic chopped green lettuce, some buffalo/blue cheese sauce, and a little bit of shredded cheese all mixed together. It works perfectly with their flatbread that is soft and chewy, providing great mouth feel. To be honest, the only reason this place isn't a five star spot, is because the interior seems to always be poorly lit, and dinge-y. That and the several times I've been here the time between ordering and getting my food takes forever. This is probably my fault as I always walk down to get my lunch, and while it doesn't appear that a lot of people are waiting ahead of me, I want to say like 75% of their lunch business is online/call in orders. So the kitchen is super busy, even though it doesn't look like there's that many customers.

Had the Signature Salad with a side of warm multigrain flatbread for lunch and it was delicious! It was made exactly as I requested, and ready in 10 minutes. Perfect spot for a weekday lunch in the loop!
