Cuckoo Reviews
been here a few times, each is better experience that the last, attempt to try most of their items on menu. So far, my favorite is their Mango smoothies with cloud cheese, as drink. Their cloud cheese is really good and a balance of salty taste with the sweetness of the mango, the tapioca in the drinks is plentiful but not overpowering the water content. I had it in other Chinatown restaurants, some had too many tapiocas that my teeth were tired chewing them. Cuckoo is not. Their...read full review
I live around Cuckoo and it's my new favorite place to be at. The staff is super friendly and kind, the boba tea is so delicious and the ambience of the place is so warm and inviting that every time that I go there it makes me so happy.
We LOVE Cuckoo Andersonville. Friends--this is the most adorable new restaurant, best boba tea! Korean chicken wings and oh so delicious korean chicken sandwiches. Opened by two friends, young women--they painted, installed equipment, hauled drywall. Please stop by--tell them we sent you. #deliciousfood #womenownedbusiness #womensupportingwomen #andersonvillechicago #andersonville

Cuckoo serves excellent chicken, crispy and tender with balanced flavors of kimchi and pickled radish. The restaurant also offers crispy battered wings, bubble tea, and sweet roles with condensed milk. The space is small and cozy, creating a relaxed atmosphere, though service can be slow since there is usually only one person working the counter and kitchen. The garlic soy chicken sandwich is a highlight, crispy, flavorful, and very satisfying, often praised as one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city. The presentation is cute, with fries served in a little basket. The variety box offers good value with simple yet complex flavors that satisfy, including dishes like bibimbap and katsudon, all made fresh and flavorful. Friendly staff provide good customer service in this quiet spot, making it a nice place to enjoy a casual meal.
