Cupitol Coffee & Eatery (Streeterville)

I used to enjoy Cupitol until last week when I found a large piece of plastic in my pancake… I understand mistakes happen but I am still disappointed and won’t be returning

The coffee was outstanding—smooth, creamy, and full of flavor—and the tiramisu was absolutely delicious: soft, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, ideal for relaxing, chatting, or spending quality time. The service was friendly and quick. I would definitely come back without hesitation. Highly recommended.

This place has instantly claimed the top spot as my ultimate breakfast destination! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with warm, attentive service. I’m still daydreaming about that rich, velvety Nutella latte—it was absolutely divine. The menu strikes the perfect balance between comforting classics and creative twists, making each bite a delight. This was a great spot for breakfast. The prices were decent for downtown Chicago and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious! You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Nothing fancy, but very good food! Would definitely return.

This place deserves to be shut down. This is the MOLDY brown avocado that was inside my breakfast sandwich. This is a food safety issue, and the person who knowingly put this on the sandwich needs to be fired immediately as this is a deliberate act to make someone sick. I’m so glad i opened the Sandwich before biting into it or I would have gotten very sick.

Think twice about coming here as their food safety standards are not up to par. I’ll be calling the food safety dept of Chicago.

Chill, comfortable and delicious. Got the berry marscapone French toast after a flight, it's winter right now cold and a little windy and this is so perfect. Staff is really nice
