My husband and my family ate yesterday and everything we had was delicious. The lechón sandwich was so tender and juicy. It was seasoned to perfection. The bistec sandwich was great and meaty. The jibarito was gigantic. Everything that was ordered was made with love. The people working were so sweet and kind. They really treated us like family. I recommend this place 💯. I will definitely be back. Thanks again for being so kind.
The food is AMAZING! I’ve tried many Puerto Rican restaurants and this is the best! The jibaritos are big and the lechon is to die for! We tried arroz blanco, arroz con gandules, habichuelas guisadas, yuca al mojo, besitos tropicales, and flan de coco. Everything is super good! My new favorite! Excelente place for a quick bite or pick up. Staff and owners are super kind and great hostesses! Music is nice too.
The steak sandwich is as close to perfect as one gets. Very flavorful and the bread is toasted impeccably. The cuban sandwich, which features ham as well, was different than others I’ve had but enjoyable nonetheless. The rice was the best I’ve had in the city thus far, easily. Lastly, the plantains were incredible! The owner is passionate, knowledgeable, and cool as hell. Will be visiting again (and again).
