This is an amazing little spot in West Town. The tacos were fantastic. I had the fish, shrimp, and steak tacos. Highly recommend all of them. While I didn't taste others ordered the burger and burrito both with high reviews. Add a pitcher of house margarita to this order and we had a very enjoyable evening.

Diego is having fun adding a Mexican-inspired menu to a great neighborhood bar.The karaage was the surprise favorite, but the tacos were great and a decent value. I tried two cocktails, and both were well-balanced and creative.Most of the seating is an all-year patio, but they had heaters at the ready to take any chill off an early spring afternoon.We'll be back.

Aye let me tell you about this Gem! Second time here & the best service EVER!!! Me & husband are workaholics!! So when we go out we want great service, great drinks and great atmosphere! This place is amazing, feels soooo homie, warm and appreciative of their customers. Fabian & Derrick are amazing bartenders… you don’t know the drink ask him for a taste… beautiful owners…husband and wife are amazing. Literally making sure you’re having a good time. Love this place!!!!

Diego lives up to all it's hype! The drinks are creative and the food I'd delicious! We ordered the well known tuna tostada which has got alot of hype as the best tuna tostada and I can see why. The other tostada (shrimp y mac) was also very good. We also tried the burger and it was zesty and yummy. We also loved our server! She was very nice and gave great recommendations.

Fantastic experience at Diego. We went for Brunch, and the ambiance is really nice during the day. We were able to sit in their enclosed and heated patio, where the garage doors open into a unique and eclectic space playing fun music. The food is mouth-watering; the breakfast tacos have soft eggs that melt in your mouth, and the carne asada burrito has fries inside that give it a delicious crunch. Both dishes were also full of flavor. The chips and salsa were freshly made and crisp, while the drink menu is versatile and authentic. The staff is extremely welcoming; the owner/manager conversed with many of the customers, making Diego an extremely friendly atmosphere. They are dog-friendly, posting pictures and videos of canine guests on their social media page, while also taking Polaroid photos of the dogs to hang on the wall. 10/10 would return and recommend!

AMAZING! vibes are right, food is great, service is wonderful. Prices seem high but worth it. Hands down one of my favorite ceviches in the city. It's fresh and tangy and had the perfect crunch. One of my favorite items we got. You can't go wrong with the tostadas. We got the tuna tartare which was my BFs favorite and the the shrimp Mac tostada which was my favorite. The shrimp and mac was rich, creamy, filling, it almost gives you a seafoody Mac salad vibe. The tuna tartare was great. I feel like because I had the shrimp and Mac one first it took away from the tartares lighter flavor. It was still great. The fish is really fresh and elegant. It just didn't have as much flavor as the other one. We also tried the Diego burrito which honesty is the best hangover cure. The waitress said shrimp was her favorite version but we went with steak cause all our appetizers were seafood heavy. And oh my god I'm so glad we did steak. First they put an ample amount of meet in there. They cut the meat in small cubes and each of these cubes are packed with the juciest flavor burst. The craziest part about the burrito was although the meat is so juicy they managed to keep the fries inside perfectly crispy and plump. After all this food me and my bf were pretty full but we accidentally over ordered and had to take the burger to go. The burger wasn't my cup of tea but we also didn't eat it till hours after so I feel like I can't judge.

WAITED 3.5 HOURS AND NEVER GOT A TABLE!!!!!I don’t normally leave bad reviews but my experience was so negativeI needed to share. My friends and I put our names down for a party of 4 and were told it would be a 2.5 hour wait. During that time we tried to add 2 more to the reservation and told the hostess we are all girls we dont mind squeezing in a 4 top. When our “table” was ready they pointed at the BAR at 3 open seats and said that is where they would be seating us. They anticipated 2 other women at the bar to get up soon. Low and behold they did not. I complained to the hostess that we weren’t even given our original number of seats which was for 4 people. She was apathetic to say the least and said it would be an additional hour and 45 minutes to seat us at a table. This is after waiting for 2.5 hours already!!!! We took the 3 seats at the bar and waited while we had drinks but the hostess never followed up even though she knew we were waiting for her to find us a table. The hostess clearly didnt know what she was doing. There were empty tables everywhere. To top it off the bartender had a terrible attitude too. They added a 20% gratuity that they did not deserve. We didn’t even get to eat we were so upset. 3.5 HOURS of waiting and we left with empty stomachs. HORRIBLE service. Will not be returning!!!!!!!
