Their different selections of pizzas are just ok.
They are nothing like a pizza you would get in New York. Their prices are very high for a slice of pizza. And they need to turn down the music, it’s blasting loud. You can’t even hear , when you are talking to a friend, or requesting a slice of pizza.

Dimo’s Pizza in Logan Square is hands-down one of the best pizza spots in Chicago. Not only is the pizza absolutely delicious and affordable, but the heart and spirit behind this place are unmatched. Felipe, who runs the shop, is one of the kindest and most community-minded leaders I’ve ever met.
I run a high-needs, underserved Chicago Public School, and when we reached out to dozens of local pizzerias to help sponsor our monthly student celebrations, Felipe was one of the very few to respond. For the last two years, he has generously provided pizza for our students completely free of charge every month (no publicity, no recognition) just sincere generosity and a belief in supporting the next generation of Chicago and world leaders.
Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been incredibly friendly. Their recipes are creative and delicious, the space is spotless, the vibes inside the pizzeria are always great, always playing good music. The prices are more than fair too. This has become my favorite pizza place in Chicago, which is saying a lot, considering Chicago is the epicenter of great pizza.
If you’re looking for amazing food, a dope atmosphere, and a business that embodies community, Dimo’s is the place to be!

The old location is much better. Better Atmosphere for sure. Came out to the new place and won’t be back. I should have just left the memories of the old place instead of trying the new.

I ordered a pizza online, and the website said 45 minute wait. I was fine with that time since it was a busy Friday evening. Once I got there, they had not even started making my pizza. When I travel to Chicago, this is a staple I always try to stop at. NOT ANYMORE! The staff was rude when I asked when the pizza was going to be ready and I heard them whispering that they forgot. They didn’t do anything for me while I waited. It look nearly 90 minutes.

I like the new location since they had to moved out of wicker Park.
The staff is great as always cheapest slices in Logan. I've ordered whole pizza before and they are always good. Just classic pepperoni is good, Mac and chz pizza is also a classic, I like the buffalo chicken also.
Amazing special pizza of the month every month.
They ask have lots of vegetarian styles and even vegan options with vegan chz.

I’ll be forthright in saying I frequented Victory Grill, which occupied this property up until a couple months ago. I’ve gone to Dimo’s a handful of times in Wicker Park and had a decent experience there, with my only quip being the lack of info about available slices on display.
I went here with my girlfriend Sunday night after a flight back home with the intention of taking some slices home. First thing we noticed was how much dirtier the parking lot and outside patio was compared to when VG was here; there was litter from inside the restaurant scattered about on the property. We went inside and, as other reviewers have noted, the vibes just feel off and the place didn’t look, well, clean.
You could tell some of the slices on display had been sitting there for quite a while; the cheese appeared dried out. No heat lamps in there to keep them warm either. There must have been at least 7 different slice variations clustered in there, with absolutely no information as to what ingredients were present on any of them. We were underwhelmed by this location and left within a couple minutes of arriving without buying anything.
If you’re looking for a reliable spot offering slices to go, try Paulie Gee’s in Wicker Park (a block away from Dimo’s former location) or Pizza Lobo on Sacramento and Fullerton (which has a to-go window on the side for your convenience).

Not the reviews for this place. It seems like they carried reviews over from their other location or they messed up their listing. If you’re going to be sketchy then maybe the food is too

Absolutely gutted they closed the Wicker Park location for this. The vibes are off, it doesn’t feel like a Dimos at all. The pizza was super disappointing. The Florentine slices I got were soggy, and the fresh elote slice I got didn’t taste the same as it usually does.
Hoping this is just new location kinks to be worked out. But I’m super disappointed.

It’s been weeks but I had an experience that bothered me so much I have to talk about it. I’ve talked about it to my friends since this experience and I have to come forward with what happened.
We live in the neighborhood and went when they first opened. The first time, we ordered two slices of pizza and mac and cheese. We were told the mac and cheese would be a little bit which we were fine with. 30 mins went by and we asked about it and they told me they forgot to put it in the oven. We asked for a refund for the mac and cheese, which they provided, and then gave us two coupons for free slices. (Also as a side note - the pizzas for slices were just sitting out not under a heat lamp which is bordering on unsanitary. Food has to be kept at a certain temperature to be safe, and not having heat lamps doesn’t keep the food in that zone. They have them sitting out for god knows how long, but that’s for another day)
We went back the next day and used the slices, and the cashier didn’t ask us if it was to go or for there. We were taking them to go, and when they handed the plates to us, I asked if we could get it to go.
I asked that question extremely politely. The response I got was “What would you do if I said no? You won’t come back here.”
To be honest, had I been in my right mind, I would have reached over the counter and grabbed the boxes myself rather than deal with the attitude. I’m still in shock that that was what the cashier said.
Since then, I haven’t been back and don’t think I ever will. Two times in a row of extremely bad experiences, with two separate issues and two separate staff members tells me it’s a staff thing, not a one-off.
Shame because I really liked their BBQ chicken pizza. But I can’t put myself through that kind of bad customer service again.
