Julie is the best, most friendly bartender! We come when she is here, another bartender is always in a bad mood and acts like she is going out of trouble to help us. I wish Julie was here every day!! Laura is also wonderful!

If you’re blessed enough to see Laura as you walk up the stairs to this fine establishment you’re certain to leave stumbling out with the best of memories to carry on to your next destination. An absolute treasure, who coincidentally works at Division on the Rocks!

Epic. Great drink specials. All the food you doing ever want (it's above a grocery store) Our friend blacked out on double vodka tonics for like $15.

Great local bar with small town boiler maker deals ($5 beer and well shot). Bartenders are so nice and great service. While 4 star, expectations are low - this is a grocery store bar, so don't expect fancy!

I might move back to Chicago for this. I miss it…
This place is a hidden gem. Off the beaten path. A great crowd and that beer (16oz) and shot special can’t be beat.
The $5 daily special (any shot and beer from a select list) can't be beat
A Whole Kosher AISLE!!! oh yea
Cashiers and baggers just stand there and talk to eachother. Tonight my roommate went in to get a few items for a bbq we are hosting this Fourth of July. And the cashier/ bagger was talking about how annoying the white customers are. My friend then asked at the end for double bags and the Bagger said “see another white girl needing something” she then looked at my roommate and said you don’t need double bags. My roommate said she does because she’s taking public transportation home and had bags rip in the past. The Bagger proceeded to roll her eyes and squeeze the Hamburger and Hotdog buns while putting it in new bags. Then proceeded to throw raw hamburger patties at the bottom of the bag with frozen food, corn on the cob and a glass container of ranch dressing on top which ultimately squished the burgers. She proceeded to say I think we should put the burgers on the top. She ignored her and rolled her eyes and threw the bags at my roommate saying “there ain’t nothing wrong w these burgers”. My roommate proceeded to go to the customer service desk. The front of house manager Derek was no help at all. Didn’t even apologize. Just started getting loud at her once she asked “is this normal behavior / do you allow this”. He then directed her to a phone number on the receipt to call for customer service. Racist establishment with poor customer service. Inexperienced management, high prices for below average produce/ products. .... people only go here because it’s the only grocery store in the Gold Coast/ old town area.
