We were way late getting into Chicago and needed a place to catch dinner. They were (barely) still open but welcomed us with welcome arms. Dinner was quick but tasty. We liked it so much, we came back the next night for a more complete and less rushed dinner. They have a good mix of sandwiches, entrees, salads and bowls. And did I mention the service? All good

The best, fresh, and prepared restaurant food I’ve ever had. The tortilla soup was amazing!!!! The burger was too good for words. I’m truly impressed by Doc B’s!!!!

Truly, one of the best barbecue pulled pork sandwiches I’ve ever had and the fries were one of the best seasoned fries I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!!

Doc B's absolutely hit the spot on a brutally cold Chicago day. Walking in from the freezing wind, the matzah ball soup felt like a warm hug in a bowl. Rich, comforting broth with a perfectly fluffy matzah ball, exactly what you want when the city is locked in deep winter. And then there were the chicken wings. Wow. Crispy, juicy, and tossed with a vibrant chimichurri that brought just the right punch of garlic, herbs, and brightness. It's such a smart twist and totally addictive. The kind of wings you keep thinking about after you leave. Doc B's nails that rare combo of elevated comfort food without trying too hard. Cozy, welcoming, and consistently delicious. This is the place you want to be when Chicago weather is doing its worst and you want food that does its best.
Our server was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, had great suggestions and kept us on time to get to the theater.
We have lived a few blocks away for 6 years and finally pulled the trigger last night for dinner. The reviews looked like it would be a good fit and they were right. Laid back, fairly quiet, smooth operation, no wait, good and friendly service, good food, prompt bar service. It is not a cheap eat but we live in this area so we're used to paying up for a good meal. I thought the value was reasonable for the food and experience. We will be back.
We have been coming to Doc B's for a long time. Service wasn't the best. Kept having to remind our waiter.. drinks, condiments etc. but food and drinks are always delicious.
We had a great time. The food was awesome and we love sitting with Nate the bartender- one of the best! It was lights parade night so a great time to be there!
