Doc B's absolutely hit the spot on a brutally cold Chicago day. Walking in from the freezing wind, the matzah ball soup felt like a warm hug in a bowl. Rich, comforting broth with a perfectly fluffy matzah ball, exactly what you want when the city is locked in deep winter. And then there were the chicken wings. Wow. Crispy, juicy, and tossed with a vibrant chimichurri that brought just the right punch of garlic, herbs, and brightness. It's such a smart twist and totally addictive. The kind of wings you keep thinking about after you leave. Doc B's nails that rare combo of elevated comfort food without trying too hard. Cozy, welcoming, and consistently delicious. This is the place you want to be when Chicago weather is doing its worst and you want food that does its best.
Our server was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, had great suggestions and kept us on time to get to the theater.
We have lived a few blocks away for 6 years and finally pulled the trigger last night for dinner. The reviews looked like it would be a good fit and they were right. Laid back, fairly quiet, smooth operation, no wait, good and friendly service, good food, prompt bar service. It is not a cheap eat but we live in this area so we're used to paying up for a good meal. I thought the value was reasonable for the food and experience. We will be back.
We have been coming to Doc B's for a long time. Service wasn't the best. Kept having to remind our waiter.. drinks, condiments etc. but food and drinks are always delicious.
We had a great time. The food was awesome and we love sitting with Nate the bartender- one of the best! It was lights parade night so a great time to be there!
This is a great neighborhood place. The food is very good, the price point is right. The salads are much more interesting than those in many other places of the type. The service is always friendly and efficient.
Meg was FANTASTIC! Thank you

Fresh and Tasty. Great Chicken Salad. Also recommend the alcohol free mule cocktail. Small booth seating away from the bar so easy conversation. Super sweet waitress ... very helpful and informative.
Terrific place for a really nice meal and comfortable environ to meet up with an old pal for a long-overdue catch-up.
Being lunchtime, it was a bit noisy, and a person across the aisle was using a speaker phone. Our server offered to ask the manager if he could speak to the person to shut down her speaker. It must have worked, because the noise level quickly subsided. Other than that, we 4 people had a great lunch, as always. I wish there was a Doc b's in the north suburbs of Chicago!

Great value food excellent service really really good. Hospitable food fresh and delicious
Always enjoy the food here. Matzo Ball Soup is excellent! What made our visit exceptional was our server Israel! He paced everything perfectly. Thanks!!
Food & cocktails were fantastic. We requested outdoor (sidewalk) seating to enjoy the great weather, which may have created a noisier atmosphere and a slight bit less attention from the server, but it was perfectly fine. I would definitely go back to try other menu items. There were too many things to choose from!
Doc B's just never disappoints. The food is consistently good and the service is exceptional. A great casual place with reasonably priced food. I never skip the cookie ice cream sandwich for dessert!
Service was slow. Long time to take order. Food slow coming from kitchen. Food was mediocre. Not what we've had in the past.
