Definition of mid. Coffee is alright, but never bad. Pastries are mid. Food is mid. Service is mid. It’s almost guaranteed that the person taking my order will be on their phone, they’re pretty friendly though. Nice atmosphere, especially on the patio in the summer. It’s convenient and no-frills. Give it a shot if you need to grab a coffee or quick meal.
This place is awesome. Great staff. One of my favorite cafes in Chicago. The WiFi connection could be better but the quality of food, coffee, and service make up for it. Also, lots of natural light for working here during the day.

Their coffee is very good! Nice, friendly, professional staff. The only problem is they don't put up umbrellas for the outdoor seating area. Makes it uncomfortable on a sunny, warm day.
