This review is long overdue. The food and beverages are always on point. The staff is friendly and attentive. Also, the atmosphere is always a nice vibe. The only criticism I can give is the first hand full of times that I've been here they forgot the silverware. It became a running inside joke after awhile with my husband and I. This has stopped the last year or so - awesome!

Maya, you are hurting the business. Rude the whole way through and made me feel like I needed to rush. No greetings, no pleasantries, and placing the check down without asking is that all. The owner needs to correct this because I’m not coming back.

Me and my partner went here for our anniversary breakfast one 12/21 at 9am, once we sat down and waited for our server (darker woman with braids) to come, our server came over first asking us if we want anything to drink, not telling us her name or any basic greeting (I was a server for a long time up until recently so I was shocked when she just came up to us and asked what we wanted). Once we ordered, which I got the 2x2x2 and my partner got the croque madame, my dish was mid, bacon was cooked inconsistently and pancakes and eggs were actually kinda bland. The croque madame was the most disappointing thing, as it was just one slice of toast with an egg on top and ham. The ham was good and the egg was cooked well, but this wasnt a croque madame, it was just toast with things on top (like where is the bechamel sauce and loads of cheese??). Don't call it a croque madame if it isn't a croque madame. So overall, mid food (please season), quite horrible service from our server (I saw other reviews talking about her so I hope the owner or management fixes her serving techniques and attitude towards guests)but the vibes are there.

I got scammed buying a cappuccino here, they have good coffee beans but they don’t have any clue how to use the coffee machine, the milk was boiling hot and the coffee extraction was mediocre, if I pay $6.30 for a 12oz cappuccino I expect specialty coffee quality

This place is a bright and modern spot for breakfast or brunch. The menu has a good mix of classics and creative twists, and everything is fresh and flavorful. The coffee is a nice bonus, and the relaxed vibe makes it easy to hang out for a while. It’s a solid pick for a casual meal to start the day.

The food was outstanding and the service was great, highly recommend coming during the week when it is less busy.
The downside is that the noise can get REALLY bad when it is busy. I couldn't hear my friend speaking 2 feet in front of me without her raising her voice.
Some baffles or other sound-absorbing fixtures could really help to improve the atmosphere of this otherwise lovely diner!
