One of my favorite local Italian places! Great location on Clark in Andersonville. The interior is super cute and classic. My servers have always been friendly, helpful, and very familiar with the menu and wine list. The menu often changes seasonally, so it's fun to return at different times and get to try out new dishes - always delicious. (However, that also means favorites can disappear off the menu... bring back butternut squash ravioli!! ) Great place to take family and friends...read full review
After seeing a wonderful play downtown, we decided to come and have dinner at Bar Roma, and we are so very happy we did. We ran into an old friend there Tom and we met the manager Jorge who was super sweet. Although I have been there a couple of times, I really enjoyed the drinks, food, and ambiance today. Love the food and wines and cocktails. Best Old Fashioned in the city. Impossible meatballs are a family favorite. Staff is exceptional. The only thing we don’t like is the big metal shelf that divides the high top tables in the bar area. They are just at face level so you can’t really engage with your friends across the table, but it’s really awkward to sit side by side and have to turn your back on one friend to talk to another.
