A kind man, amazing donuts not so expansive !
What a sweet little spot in Chicago (thanks, Anthony Bourdain!) where you can grab a sweet breakfast, coffee, and a piece of Chicago. This is a must see! It really is a vault and makes even waiting in line to get inside a treat. It felt like an adventure from the moment you approach the establishment.

Doughnut Vault offers some of the best donuts in Chicago, with a consistent supply of top-notch treats. The daily donuts are always excellent, fresh, and delicious. The bakery features both yeast and cake donuts, all exceptional in flavor. The old fashioned donut was definitely by far a favourite, and the glazed was also very tasty. Donuts are very large and fluffy. The coffee was a lovely accompaniment. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Getting there as early as possible is wise, as they sell out most mornings. Tables outside made it a nice and relaxing start to the morning. Customers should note that ordering ahead is recommended to avoid confusion.
