Dulce De Leche Cafe is a charming spot that blends the feel of a family-run restaurant with a menu that keeps people coming back. The space has a welcoming energy, and the portions are generous, which makes it a great choice for a hearty breakfast or brunch. The omelets and pancakes are popular, but the real highlights are the Latin-inspired dishes like the chilaquiles and the dulce de leche filled pastries. Everything feels freshly made and served with care.
The service is warm and personal, even when the café is busy. There can be a bit of a wait during weekend mornings because it is clearly a favorite with locals, but the food that arrives at the table makes the wait worthwhile. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and it is easy to feel comfortable settling in for a long, satisfying meal.

Latte was great but, it took a really long time to make mine and my friends, which were both made incorrectly. Then, they remade them and mine was the incorrect size. It wasn’t very busy so not sure what the issue was, maybe caught them on an off day?

$4.50 sesame bagel with cream cheese. Was quite disappointed by the quality of the bagel and size. A Starbucks bagel is cheaper and tastes better in my opinion

Steps from the end of the brown line, this small cafe serves dark matter coffee along side some excellent breakfast & brunch options.
Everything we got was excellent and staff were very friendly.
There's some nice art and the walls and the atmosphere was nice with some light music playing in the background.
Very much worth the stop.

Absolute gem in the Albany Park neighborhood! Lovely atmosphere, friendly & welcoming staff and…super important, the food is amazing! I can’t underscore enough how fresh everything is. Some of the best chilaquiles in town! Order with carnitas and you won’t be disappointed.
