Going on the reaction of family who recommended your place while I was in Chicago and I wanted a break from Starbucks. I came eastbound looking for your shop. Map directions said I was there but I didn’t see you. Please include an outside view of your great place of business.
What a cute little coffee shop. They have a lovely walk up window and great service. Also the food is really good! I've had lunch here and few times and it doesn't disappoint. If you want something hearty go for the torta.

Walked in and ordered to go, stepped off to the side to wait for the order received my coffee drinks promptly. Then waited and watched many people who ordered after me receive their orders. After about 20 minutes I checked in with the individual who took the order and they advised it would be just a little longer. I waited about 15 more minutes and the barista-who kindly noticed I had been waiting a while-asked if everything was, and said they would check in on the order. The order finally came out but it was completely cold. Seeming to indicate the food had been ready, but there had been lack of attention to getting it out to me. The taste was also bland. Between the poor service, lack of flavor and price point I would not recommend.

Should update the menu on here, I bought 2 crepes for takeout thinking I found a spot to get cheap crepes and my order came to almost 30 bucks, very misleading, coffee is great tho

I had just gotten off a flight and wanted breakfast before a long day of unpacking. I did a quick Google search and this place showed up so we decided to check it out.
We were pleasantly surprised.
The food is like a more contemporary take on Mexican food with everything having familiar flavors but slightly elevated.
I got the chilaquiles because they're one of my go-tos when out for breakfast/brunch. I was hooked on the first bite and greeted with an explosion of flavor.
I couldn't resist the blue matcha latte since it was so photogenic. To my surprise, it had a nice almond-like flavor and was smooth. I had to pace myself so I didn't drink it all in one go.
I'm already hoping to go back soon and try some of the other dishes and drinks.
Vegetarian options: Most of the savory items on the menu can be made vegetarian and are clearly labeled. They'll either offer extra avocado or other vegetables instead of meat.

As for the service, I ordered an unsweetened Tumeric with vegetable milk but without sugar and it came out sweet!! Of course they didn't add sugar but I told it with unsweetened milk 😭 total misunderstanding. And then we asked if the muffin was small or large and he said it's small and for us it was big OMG! Nimodo.
I had chilaquiles and they were delicious but the other dish was carnitas and those didn't taste like original carnitas.
That coffee with milk deserves 5 🌟

I recently dined in at this place and I was totally let down by the service. The food was spectacular, but our server was so lackadaisical and was just not focused or knowledgeable about anything. She forgot beverages, additional silverware, one of our entrees, and was unapologetic the entire time. Takeout orders were being placed and filled faster than the people who were sitting and dining in; I watched 2 tables get up and leave because they hadn't received service after more than 15 minutes. The guests nearest our table leaned over and complained that they hadn't gotten their coffees in over 15 minutes after ordering them. Since our server forgot to order one of our entrees, we waited about 45 minutes total before all entrees were on the table (while takeout orders were being placed and fulfilled in that space of time).
It was just all so disappointing considering how good the food is. Whoever is cooking in that kitchen is putting their heart and soul into food that is not being represented or respected at all by the front of house staff.
