The place was absolutely filthy...from the front door to pick up counter! The part of the kitchen area that could be seen was also filthy! The fish was listed as cat fish but it was actually swai fish fillets cut in 3 small pieces! This place is in need of major repairs and deep cleaning!

This place should be shut down by the city. As long as we continue to support them and not call them out for serving their community out of this disgusting establishment they will unfortunately keep on doing it. I placed my order. I should have turned around when I got there. They don’t even have a sign. The outside door was filthy but it got worse. I would not sit down in that nasty place. I was able to see a little of the kitchen where you pick up your order. Full of clutter and filthy. I ordered the chicken wing combo with 3 fillets of catfish. What I got was one Swai fillet cut into 3 pieces. The wings were very small and the food was just okay. If I could give no stars I would

I have been going to eat a run since they first opened. I hate to say that I had a bad encounter today with one of the Older male employees. I called and placed my order for pick up. I placed it, under my nickname. When I went to go pick it up and pay with my credit card, my legal name is on the credit card. The male employee decides to berate me for my name being different from my credit card. I questioned what does that matter because I’m paying, and offer to show my ID. I explained to him, that there’s many times where people place orders under their name and have a different person come to pay. Now I could understand if I had already paid for my order over the phone and sent someone else to pick it up, yes that could be a problem, but that is not what happened today. Again I politely said do you need my ID? He takes my ID and looks at it with my card. He decides to tell me that there’s a new rule that has been implemented, though it is not posted anywhere in their business stating that whoever orders has to be the person to pick up. I can only assume this is regardless on who’s gonna pay bc you can’t pay over the phone, but I digress. He continues and then gaslight me when I got a bit angry at the fact that he was making no sense and then he tried to shut me down in that older church way ‘OK Sister you have a good day’ And that almost pmo even more bc I hadn’t done anything wrong, had no problem paying and no problem showing my ID specially considering I’m paying with my money. And this is how he treats long time customers. I don’t think I will be going back. The chicken was fine, but the fries were horrendous. We threw them away.

I moved to Indiana and travel the 2 hours to get this chicken when I can. The man that takes my order is always pleasant. My food is always good and hot. I love that it's not a franchise. Helps keep the food good🤣.

The food, service, and the atmosphere is great but I think it should be open longer because Monday through thursday 11 until 5 most people don't get off until 5 and definitely be wanting some good hot chicken....That all I have a problem with is the times

Food was fantastic, but I had to wait over an hour after the time that was told to me when I called in. The lady cooking the food was nice but the owner ran out of fish but didn't tell me

This is the best fried chicken in Chicago! They should have lines out the door, but the restaurant looks closed from the outside. Ppl may not even notice this place.
