Always on the lookout for a good diner for breakfast. Ran across this one and had to try it. Excellent diner atmosphere with a good menu. As it was around St Patrick's day, I had to try the corned beef and cabbage skillet. Great choice. Food was delicious. Large portion that overwhelmed me. Felt bad that I wasn't able to finish. Servers were very pleasant and attentive.

The restaurant was absolutely packed. Very nice staff and patrons, with a pretty interior. The service was decent, they gave us ketchup and hot sauce immediately when asked but forgot to give us utensils with our food. The special shake was great if you like mint chocolate chip flavored desserts. The gyro skillet was fine, I ideally would have preferred traditional gyro strips and more tzatziki sauce but it tasted ok. I got the turtle pancakes too and they weren't that flavorful, wouldn't get again. The food was very heavy with no real emphasis on flavor. I would go again and get something smaller.

The only reason I can't give this place a five star was because of my egg. Personally I do not like super runny eggs on a sandwich. I couldn't eat the sandwich with my hands because it was way too messy. The Benedict was good but did not have a lot of sauce. Loved how the classic Benedict came on a waffle- so good on a waffle. Loved the lattes, such good cups!! Fun vibe inside of the restaurant, went on St. Patrick's day and had so many great drink options to celebrate!!

In the heart of what is probably the most hidden, less known area in Chicago, lays Eggy’s, a charming diner for breakfast and lunch. On the menu you will find a bite for every taste both savory and sweet, great flavors and friendly service.Give them a try, you will love.Tish was here!

Quick service, no wait on a Friday morning. Loved their chocolate chip pancakes and sausage patties. Potatoes weren't my favorite but still yummy!

Tucked away diner feel, good coffee and staff but the chicken and waffles were a little dry. Very kid friendlyKid-friendliness: Very accommodating, pretty sure they had crayons and paper to keep them entertained

Decent quality ingredients, but very pricey. Very cramped dining space. Charging $1 for a mayo packet that Shake Shack locations have out for free is in bad taste, and quite frankly, cheap. Won't return.Parking: Paid an extra 25$ to park nearby to experience this breakfast place since there is no on-street parking. Not worth it.

On my recent visit to Chicago I had breakfast and lunch at Eggy's and would highly recommend a visit for both breakfast and lunch. Will definitely return on my next visit to Chicago.

The food is awful, feels like people in the kitchen don’t care about food at all. They don’t even put salt. I’ve been there three times since I live around, and all the time the food wasn’t good. People go there because there is no better option in this neighbourhood. ???

Grabbed a quick lunch here with colleagues and it was delicious. The sandwiches were not what we expected but still very good. The soups were delicious. We had burgers, crepes, Cobb salad and turkey sandwiches.

Wasted our time and our money. The eggs were spongey and had A WEIRD TASTE to them. The pancakes were horrible, they were dry and nasty. Waitress didn’t stop to check on us at all, besides when we stopped her to get the check. Maybe it was a bad day because the table next to us left all their food on the table too. But I would NEVER recommend this place.

Great place to hang out and have breakfast or lunch. The Eggs and Meat platter was more than enough, plus a pancake included.

The waitress messed up my order and then tried to argue. I'm vegetarian so it's the first thing I say when meat is involved. "NO MEAT!" She mixed my order up and got an attitude. I kept my cool but she almost got a verbal beat down. The food arrived cold and tasteless. What a waste. She struggled to speak English and that could have contributed towards her confusion. So I gave her the benefit of doubt. Won't go back. Cute place but that lady was just nasty.
