Don’t bother buying the tacos. El Chuzo was greedy with so little chicken and so much lettuce, tomato and corn… Ick.

The steak tacos were incredible. So fresh with cilantro and onion. They even had flour instead of corn tortillas and the tortilla was so delicious. The lady was smiling, bright and kind. A hidden gem by the lake! Will be back!

A few tacos and you're surfing all day. Best eats on the beach. 🤙

I went over there to order a drink, but even though it was 4:30 the two workers sitting at the table outside said they were closed. When I checked the site it said they were open for a while. It sucks when you are running and they dont even let you buy a drink.
A friend and I like to stop here for tacos and pop after runs on the lakefront trail. It has become a fun tradition. We get the steak tacos and the lady in the truck is always very friendly. Watch out for the hot sauce — I love it but, as she’ll warn you, it’s HOT.

Kind and polite service!
Good place to stop for lunch or a snack while biking on the Chicago Lakefront Trail or exploring Lincoln Park. The steak tacos were a hit with the family as were the hotdogs. Outdoor tables under the trees make for a convenient lunch spot. Very friendly service too.
pretty good mangonada (nice on a hot day but mango tasted a big frozen still) after a huge line.... can't blame El Chuzo though... there's no way they could service all the thirsty/hungry people in the park/beach. Wish the city would allow food trucks to go to the same spot! :)
This lady soooooooo nice nd umm black 😘
