The Churrasco is hands down one of the best cuts of Colombian goodness I have had in the city. Arguably the best Colombian Restaurant in Chicago.

This is a great Colombian Restaurant. Food was great and fast. The empanadas are good and Steven helped us with respect in a friendly way.
Try the Maracuya juice and the bandeja paisa when you go there.

Is a great service, is an amazing place and the food is so delicious and Steven is one of the best waitress he always gave us an excellent service and makes me feel like I’m home!!! Super recomendado

The food is good, the service could improve, but the atmosphere is terrible for a quiet moment with the family. During my visit there were people drinking and sharing with the waiters (although liquor is not sold there), and the music was too loud, something that really did not make my visit pleasant.

I lived in Cartagena for 5 years and I worked in a restaurant called Zason and Folklore.... first time I go to Elena's stove... and the food really transported me directly to my beautiful Cartagena, it reminded me of when I ate at my job and served those delicious dishes with unique authentic flavors of Colombia. We ordered a paisa tray, churrasco, seafood casserole 🦀🍢 and everything was super delicious, everything was fresh, freshly made. When eating and listening to the music, many mixed feelings came to me. It even reminded me of my mom. I'm not Colombian but I love her foods, her textures, flavors, smells...

The word that came out to my husband was this makes me feel like I'm home.

My daughter's word was my god this is delicious

My little daughter's word was mommy, I can't believe it, this is delicious, there's a lot of it 🥩 I'm going to save it for tomorrow

In these simple words I express how we felt when we tried the food, it was quite a spectacle.

The only detail is that there is a lack of more attention on the part of the waiters, be more attentive to the people who enter, do not leave them waiting there, empty tables, clean them so that the customers can sit, there is a lack of more attention to the public...they lack more spark, more batteries, remember that it is not only the food, but also the attention to the staff that makes you come back. The truth is not what you expect when you arrive at the place, there is little space, it is small, the staff and the atmosphere make you nostalgically miss that little piece of the roots of your land 🇨🇴 Locombiana, because it is like that the kindness and smile of the Colombian is in their being, you make those who serve you feel in Colombia because whoever does not enjoy joking with a Parce please give me a gift, and don't look at you as if you were not going to pay for what you ask for.
Regarding the food, I can summarize the ideal temperature, the unique plating in each dish that was served, for starters they offered us empanadas with the tradition of spicy sauces and ranch, the blackberry juice was spectacular, I loved the food, I chose to try their red snapper in shrimp sauce, accompanied by rice salads and something that may be missing from the table: plantain, two delicious patacones.
